Tragaluz has become a gathering place for prominent citizens and one of the most glamorous establishments of the city. The menu is based on traditional Mediterranean cuisine but is also cutting edge. The removable glass roof gives the restaurant, which is located in the centre of the city, a pleasant and unique atmosphere.

Still enjoyable

My family and I visited around 4 years ago, and had an amazing experience back then. This time, we had a bit more mixed feelings. The appetizers were again really enjoyable, everything's from the croquettes to the tomato and mozzarella. Especially recommendable was the carpaccio. The main course... read more

The location is very good, we love the environment and the food was quite good, but sadly the service is not at the same level of the food, maybe it's low hour, we went there around 5:30, there was only one waitress and she didn't seem to enthusiasm to serve. Anyway the food is quite satisfying and you can try... More

Good Food, excellent service in a pretty nice atmosphere. Children are welcome. Good food for a reasonable price. We will come back for a romantic dinner without kids.

The restaurant itself is stunning, with a movable glass roof. Definitely get a table upstairs. We both really enjoyed the food - it's definitely on the posher end of the spectrum so it's great for a celebration or final holiday meal. There were a number of restaurants that looked great along this street, however we were very glad we chose... More

This well-located restaurant is located in the second level under huge windows and is therefore full of natural light. Whatever you order you will not be disappointed, because the food is excellent from appetizers to desserts. Furthermore, the service is outstanding. We went with an elderly person in a wheelchair, and everybody went out of their war to accommodate him.

We have been going to Tragaluz for years and I have recommended it to all my friends visiting Barcelona but our last visit was less than pleasant and I will not recommend it again. The prices are high, and they are overpriced and stingy with the wine by the glass, but the food is very good, however it was the... More

Nice space on second floor above the sushi restaurant. The food and service were excellent. Among the best we experienced while in Barcelona.

Dined here a couple of days ago with some colleagues. We were a party of ten which arrived quite late however the service was impeccable. With regards to the ambiance I was surprised that even though there were many people one could still have a conversation without needing to get too loud. With regards to the food I have to... More

We came here as a special lunch on our holiday and were thoroughly impressed. This little gem is hidden away in the upstairs of a little place on a side street, but is a beautiful room almost like a conservatory which you reach after walking through the open kitchen. All of the waiters were impeccable, and when I made the... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
