Having Been TO the vasque country in north spain , and living in southern spain I LOVE tapas or pintxos . Once You order your drink they give you an empty plate and you just help yourself to the many pintxos on the bar , all we tried was very nice and good quality and large selection of pintxos. Try... This place is crowded! We heard more English being Spoken here than anywhere in Barcelona. The vibe is fun and convival, and the prices are cheap. Almost every single pinxto is something on bread. This fills you up faster than you want! Try to push through the crowd- there is usually more space towards the back of the bar. Also,... More

Excellent selection of fresh tapas on along narrow bar. There seemed to be a lot of locals- not a tourist trap. Great prices. Ask for a plate and the adventure begins, pay per toothpick when you're finished. We will certainly return to this fun little restaurant!!

Great tasting food. Helpful, and considerate staff. Good prices. I'm not sure what else to look for in a grea spot to get introduced to Barcelona tapas dining? We actually stopped in twice over 4 days and must say that although selections and food choices varied, the positive atmosphere was the same. Would definitely go back again.

On April 19 we went to have some tapas at around 7pm, the place is long and narrow and it was packed, we walked to the back but couldn't find a place at the bar, while looking at an amazing display of tapas. In the back you can have a formal sitting down meal. Well, it was worth staying, the... More

This is a great place for tapas. There is a wide range of tapas to select. They are all tasty. When you have finished they simply count the number of toothpicks on your plate to work out the bill

Once again, I was glad that I followed a tip from Rick Steves, this place was really good, affordable fresh pintxos. Just get a plate, and grab whatever looks good - they'll just count up your toothpicks when you're ready to pay. We stood at the bar, big selection and they keep bringing more out from the kitchen. Each choice... More
