Great food and fun to eat,

Once again, I was glad that I followed a tip from Rick Steves, this place was really good, affordable fresh pintxos. Just get a plate, and grab whatever looks good - they'll just count up your toothpicks when you're ready to pay. We stood at the bar, big selection and they keep bringing more out... read more

had a great time with great food and friendly staff... at least until they served bad tuna as one of the main courses. The Tuna was brown, smelled like amonia and tasted even worse. No doubt it was not good. I have had tuna hundreds of times in as many variations and the Tuna was definitely bad... The staff asked... More

We were 2 couples traveling together who ate lunch here on March 29. Not your usual restaurant, here's the way it works: there is a long line of plates on a serving counter, each one containing 8-10 pieces of a single kind of tapa. There are MANY different kinds and each one has a toothpick in it. So you just... More

We arrived at this little place at the same time as a tour group and it was somewhat hectic but a fun experience. A large variety of pintxos are on display and you simply pick out what you want and they count up the toothpicks afterwards. The staff was busy and we couldn't ask what we were eating so it... More

Over 9 days in Spain the pintxos here were the most varied and delicious we tried anywherre. 3 adults and 3 kids ate and drank more than we needed for 100 euros. Crowded standing at the bar (and we thought we had reserved, but that doesn't really exist at the bar). The waitstaff was accommodating and made no fuss as... More

We really loved the food and drink at the tapas bar. We moved to restaurant portion, and ordered main dishes, a rib steak and a ravioli. The serving lady asked if we wanted a pepper with our steak, so we said yes because of the fact that steaks are powdered with pepper before cooked and it gets tastier. The steak... More

Basque tapas that can be had standing on the bar. You have them all in front of you and you only need to choose and eat. A big variation of different tapas and cant stop trying.

The rape or monkfish was traditionally cooked with salt and olive oil and garlic; very excellent and good portion. The meat was very small for "two" and the wine list was interesting; some were totally expensive, others reasonable. Service was good. Just too much money.

Excellent tapas bar in Barcelona, it's getting quite refined and it offers a lot of interesting dishes. Located in the Barri Gothic.

The girl behind the counter was great and spoke perfect english. I was there early in the evening so there was plenty of room however, I think had I arrived later the place would be packed. All of the pintxos I had were delicious and the quality of the seafood was top notch. Definitely would recommend this place to everyone!
