Very good and well priced pinxto

Great for a simple yet tasty pinxto dinner. English speaking and friendly staff. They have a good range of different pinxto's and the best cider I have ever tasted. The pinxto's all have the same very reasonable price.

We were looking for a recommended restaurant when we saw this bar our first night in Barcelona. We weren't sure what a Basque tapa might be like, but we loved everything we tried. What a fun, first experience with tapas. Three adults shared 12 tapas at the bar which was a lot of food, but everything was so good we... More

Tucked in around the corner from La Rambla - this little hole in the wall tapas joint called Irati Taverna Basca. When you peer in you see a bar that is stretched along one side of the wall that is stacked with different options of tapas and the other side is a walking/standing area that is 2, maybe 3, deep.... Best tapas we ever had. Love the toothpick concept.... Pay per toothpick left on plate. Had 4 glasses of wine with tapas and bill came to less than 40 euros for 2. Will return the next time we are in Barcelona. Wish they had some bar chairs as we would of lingered around longer but I was tired of standing... More

Stumbled in here a few days before Christmas on our yearly BCN visit. What a great find! This was a busy, lively and friendly tapas bar. A good mix of locals and tourists. A wide selection of wine and spirits. Don't take a table at the back, stand at the bar and meet people as they come through the door.... More

On our first night in Barcelona we were looking for a fun and quick place to have dinner. We came across Irati. There were a few tables in the back it you really want to sit down, but the fun is in standing at the bar, were you can converse with the bartenders and your fellow dinners. The bartenders were... We came back to Barcelona just for this experience, and so glad we did. The basque tapas here are by far the best tapas we had in the city. We came here late-afternoon, so it wasn't too crowded: you get a plate, stand at the counter, and grab each of the tapas you want to try. The tapas were all... More

Friendly staff, great food, nice wines! Perfect for a snack after a long walk. The pinchos are very tasty and not expensive compared to similar places. Do try!!

First time here, friendly service, tasty tapas, good tinto de verano. Chic. Try the gamba bacon tapa and the cod fish omelet.

Good tapas! Tuna tapas were amazing, especially if you order a glass of Cava while eating! Original idea of paying according to the number of toothpicks.
