Great Tapas but be Aware

We popped in late afternoon for tapas and were so happy we did. It was around 5:30pm so it wasnt very busy but boy was it good. All the plates were very fresh. We ordered drinks and were given plates. Here you help yourself to the tapas that are displayed on dishes sitting on the elevated... read more

The bar is loud and busy exactly as tapas should be. Grab a drink and a plate and be confident. The tapas is always fantastic. Wait until they start bringing the new stuff round!

There are 2 parts to the restaurant. The front part is all tapas. You have to stand unless you are lucky enough to get one of the bar stools. There are two small tables outside with two chairs each. We had made a reservation online, so we were escorted to the back part of the restaurant. It had nice tables... More

Some of my friends who live outside of Barcelon visit this place religiously when they are in town and introduced me to it... It was yum! the servings are quit large and a full of flavour, a place not to be missed while in Barcelona.

Eat as much or as little as you like - you can pick your own then pay by the amount of sticks or spoons you have on your plate. Stand up only for tapas. The food is very good and the staff are very helpful. It has been rated by the Barcelona tourist office.

Loved this place for a quick grab.A variety of cold tapas displayed along the counter and you just help yourself after you manage to get a plate from the barman/waiter. Apart from cold tapas on the counter they come round with some hot tapas. One you finish you will be charged on how much toothpicks you have in your plate.

This is a pintxos place so expect a lot of the basque snacks on platters along the bar. At two euros a pop, the pintxos were excellent in taste and available in a large variety. Waiters additionally walked around with hot pintxos (don't miss the hamburger and the chorizo pintxos). All were very tasty and of a good size. A... More

A good place to go for tapas and a 'buzzy' atmosphere. Tapas are lined up along the counter so you just need to get a plate from the barman /waiter (a surprisingly difficult task) and then select whatever you want from the bar. Each item has a toothpick in it and they just count up how many toothpicks you have... More

This was our first try at tapas and after seeing the number of people in there, decided to try it. It was a bit hard to get the waiters attention but when you did, they explained the dishes and the way it worked in very good English. Two of us had sangria while the other person had beer and then... More

Recommend for a quick set of tapas - standup at or near the bar - one of the staff will take care of your orders - we had a nice bottle of Rioja for 19€! you just select from those tapas that available at the bar or chose from those that come through the room fresh from the kitchen At... More
