Very much enjoyed the feel of this great tapas place. Very casual, friendly staff, and once it gets a little busy, it's a bit like a dinner party. We went for the tapas at the bar but there is a sit down restaurant in the back so can't comment on that experience. Lots of different tapas to choose from, generally... More

This place is awesome. It's located off of Las Ramblas, so it's near all the major sights but is hidden enough so that it's not a tourist rip off. The food is Basque, and there's a huge bar with a lot of options of pintxos (basically bread with different types of toppings). You stand at a table and take whatever... More

We spent 2 weeks in Barcelona and for the most part loved the food, and Irati was one of the best. The selection is amazing, everything is tasty and fresh, and with a nice bottle of wine, it's amazing. If we ever go back to Barcelona we'll be back for seconds. Also, it's a real experience to eat at the... More

If you don't have time to travel to the north of Spain, be sure to visit Irati. Great selection of pinchos that range from tasty salmon to jamon and dessert-like options. And in a convenient location.

Last day in Barcelona and after the mostly disappointing food journey I've had so far, I decided to seek out TripAdvisor's help in finding a great tapas place. This was the first place that came up and it did not disappoint. Beautiful tapas, well presented and delicious. Off a side street to the Gothic quarter and thankfully far away enough... More

Just back from a long weekend in Barcelona and I have to recommend this amazing place. The food is fantastic, the staff are excellent and it's very good value for money. There is a seating area at the back of the room, but it's great fun just to stand at the bar and help yourself to the wonderful food. We... More

Their pinchos looked and tasted awesome. When my daughter wanted more mini burgers they made another batch for her- great service and tasty filling food. I'd go back again. Hard to stop eating because the were so good. 1.95 euro/piece was good value too!

Do yourself a favor and walk to this spot just off Ramblas. Awesome tapas bites and drinks at a good price. Workers super friendly as well.

The tapas at Irati Tavern are not from Catalunya, they are Basque, and they are delicious. The best way to eat here is to simply stand at the bar and pick the things that look good. They calculate the cost by counting the different colored toothpicks when you're finished. Try the sparking wine which they serve in an interesting way!

Strange name but fantastic Pintxos, small bread with amazing toppings. Simple pick what you want and pay for the number of toothpicks left. The only problem was the food, it was so good it was hard to stop! They kept topping up with fresh hot delights! Don't miss it!
