Great lunch in Montijuc area

People have made comments about the service being hit or miss, but we thought it was fine. Little tapas are really tasty, but it is a tad challenging to eat without utensils especially when it is crowded. That aside, they tasted wonderful and the experience was worth it.

This place might be trendy but is not worth your wild to venture all the way to this horrible location, trying to find it was not easy and that should have set the tone for what was to come. I am a foodie and work in the restaurant business, live in the Montreal area and I am very use to... More

A little off the beaten (tourist) track, this place seriously looks like the tiniest bar ever and I still can't quite understand how they've managed to squeeze food serving into this place as well! The tapas is divine! Skip the menu, just ask the lady by the counter to serve what she recommends! You'll end up with one insane tapas... More

It is a really small place with no seatings. The whole family work frantically to serve hungry criwd if tourists. Tapas are really great and delicious but when you think twice they are made of mostly preserved foodstuff and they are not so cheap. Two if us ate 5 tapas and 4 drinks for 62 euros. Worth going nevertheless.

Great tapas ranging from €1.50 upwards. This place is a great find and do not be put off by the queue and the cramped fit inside. It is totally worth the wait for the food inside. All cold tapas and Would recommend the salmon with the honey truffle oil.

The food is fabulous, new taste experiences to excite your senses. Great selection of wines and fabulous beers. Service is a little quirky and takes a bit of getting used to, but just go with it as the food experience is amazing. It's very small bar so be prepared to be standing VERY close to your neighbour.

One of my favourite places in Barcelona. You can enjoy different and delicious tastes in this tiny place. By the way, there is no place to sit. If you are tired, don't bother to go because you won't enjoy the food. It is a very small place and you shout the lady behind the counter for your order. If you... More

A one Of a kind experience. Six of us went and asked the waitress to just keep making three of everything until we say stop. Truly a taste sensation that you don't want to miss. My only regret is that we didn't go back a second time. Go now, no regrets only happy tummy!!!!

A place leaving you wanting more of everything, even if you're full. Incredible, fresh food. Salmon, yogurt & honey can't be missed. Decor outstanding, atmosphere unforgettable, spoilt for choice with wine.

Overall, this truly was a unique dining experience in that the small building housing this restaurant was packed from wall-to-wall. One must be a bit forward in ordering as the staff was inundated with customers. Tapas are served on toasted bread for around 3 euros with exciting ingredients that are well documented on various blogs. A 10 euro cheese plate... More

Staying in Montjuic

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
