We were recommended this place but were not fully advised on the fact it's not exactly dining. Indeed you stand at the bar and eat your tapas while standing. But because it's so famous (because the food is just absolutely heavenly) it's very crowded which makes standing at the bar and eating a great new experience. I recommend this place... More

Read the online reviews on this one and it was worth the visit. We went in at 12 noon opening as the place is tiny and gets crowded fast. Best dishes were salmon with yoghurt and the prawn with caviar. The preserved foods - meat, scallops and sardines are an acquired taste. The prices were very reasonable and the service... More

This is an amazing little hole in the wall that has been there for 100 years under the same family. Really special tapas. My husband was in heaven. Closed the place down at lunch. Hard to tear him away.

Was dragged across town with the promise of a great lunch. Had the meat platter cheese platter and a couple of delicious sandwiches to share. The preserved quail was to die for. If I could choose one place to have lunch for the rest of my life this would be it.

This is the tapas place to go to if you like pickled and preserved vegetables, meats, seafood etc including exotic birds like partridge and quail. Standing only kinda place. They have a great selection of spirits and wine. The only warm tapa on offer is croquets. The cheese platter is very good.

This is an excellent find. Very traditional and full of character. The staff are great and very friendly (even when extremely busy). Food is simple but excellently put together. Note: they are/were closed for August which may be frustrating for summer tourists, but definitely make the effort in the other months.

We had a lunch here. Great place to just drop into and eat a fast and cheap lunch, with ingredients of high quality and cool interior. This tapas bar has a very good selection of wine from many regions in Spain, so you combine a good meal with some serious shopping.

we had one of our best tapas meals/experiences at this little lovely place. it is small so expect it to be crowded. expect to rub shoulders with strangers and fight for attention. but also expect quick and friendly service and very, very, good food. we loved the small sandwiches (available in a great variety of flavors). almost everyone will be... Went here last year and liked a lot, but this time it is closed for august. Recommend salmon with honey. There ara no tabels, you stand at street. The bar is small, service is great.
