Great Dinner for two

On our last night in Barcelona we booked a table for two at this wonderful restaurant within a hotel. The place has a sense of humour about itself the like that you do not often see in restaurants of this calibre and it was very refreshing to see unique art on the plates and walls. This was our second time eating at Roca Moo - we loved the tasting lunch so much last October that we had to do it again. We were not disappointed . The attention to detail is superb from the delightful amuse gueule which arrive on seating, to the various courses of the tasting menu. Following these surprises was a delicate... More

My wife and I had an extremely enjoyable dining experience. The food was inventive. It was enjoyable to watch the chef's prepare the individual dishes and the attention paid to small details concerning the overall appearance of each dish.

Food, wine, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. Very gracious servers. We particularly liked the white asparagus cream and the cod in broth. One of the top 10 meals I've ever had.

As a foodie familiar with most molecular gastronomic concepts my expectations were high and Roca Moo delivered! My wife and I was not very hungry at 14:00, and the 4 course lunch menu seemed to suit us well. The lunch menu has no wine pairing companion, but the wine menu has a lot of very good wines by the glass,... More

One of the most innovative and delicious restaurants in Barcelona. Best value in full tasting menu with wine, expensive but well worth it. Full of surprises and joy.

Was staying at a hotel nearby and someone local recommended this restaurant. Located in quite a nice looking boutique hotel, the decoration is nice, modern maybe a little too open to the hotel lobby, but nice. We decided to take the classic menu with its respective wine recommendation. Always skeptical of these extremely fancy restaurants, have to say the four... More

I can't be sure that this was what gave me food poisoning (which is why I've given this 3 instead of 1) but it's the most likely candidate, as I started feeling sick about 2hrs after I started dinner here, and as it's the only place I ate high-risk food (raw pigeon??!! what was I thinking??!!). Before I started feeling... More

Nice atmosphere. Very good food. Nice but limited menu. Service tried hard and was willing but made mistakes....bill, unfilled glasses, wine not delivered. But food excellent.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
