My partner and I arrived at around 6.30. As it was a particular chilly night we requested a table inside rather than an outside one. The waiter who we told this too didn't hide his irritation at our request, in fact he actually huffed! He told us it would be a short wait whilst a table became available inside- fair... More

After queuing for 30 mins to get a table, as some of the outside was closed and the other side of the outside was too windy, finally got a table upstairs, which was empty. Good food, I had Lamb which was excellent. Good food, good price, despite queuing to get in

We enjoyed this restaurant so much we came here twice during our stay in Barcelona. It's a great place for a relaxed lunch and the location couldn't be better - just off the Ramblas, yet so relaxing within the courtyard. The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable given that you're in the middle of the tourist centre. There... More

The food was tasty but the service was slow. It took 2 hours to be served tapas and a mains. Not very impressed by the plaza flasher but the police came after 20 mins. The waitress was lovely having to put up with everyone complaining how slow the food was! Felt sorry for the long queue of people who couldn't... More

The situation in the square just off Las Ramblas was excellent and we were intrigued to see an almost permanent queue, including many locals. It was only when we eat there, beautifully cooked and presented portions of mainly local produce and recipes that we began to understand why. Having also had two bottles of excellent wines plus coffee and spirits... More

Very central restaurant, quite famous. The truth is that the food was good, the prices not that high but the service was horrible. We waited for more than 10 minutes for the waiter to come and take the order and was very slow in general. And we were not the only ones to complain. No wonder why so many people... More

My friends and I visited this restaurant for a special birthday in March. We went there following a recommendation from another friend. When we arrived, there was a queue to be seated, but we were kept informed and found this reassuring. We were seated in a quiet section, which by the end of the meal, we had to ourselves. The... March 2014. Very surly waiter and, at times, quite rude. Extremely miserable Maître d who also, I might add, had the endearing habit of rolling his eyes whenever you asked for anything! We had to ask for a glass in order to drink our beer – twice! – then once the glasses eventually arrived, we had to ask for a... More

Great menu del dia for just 10,30 euros. The mail menu was also very nice. It's always full, but the line moves very fast.

Could not fault the place, although sometimes inclined to make people wait when plenty of tables empty but laid out for dinner. We went on our first night following recommendation, and ate there every night we were in Barca. Quick service, pleasant staff with wine and beer very reasonable too. Very popular and often a long queue after 8pm -... More
