The service was absolutely shocking. Unfortunately so bad that it didn't make much difference that the food was very nice. We sat upstairs which was pleasant, but waiting 35 minutes before even given water was ridiculous. Then the food arrives and there's no cutlery or plates... Great. Due to service, I would not recommend which is a shame as its... More

My girlfriend and I visited after spotting in on our walk around Barcelona. We arrived at 10pm and it wasn't very busy so got a table straight away. We were left at the table for 15 minutes before being given any menus. 10 minutes later we order a bottle of wine and some water - this took 20 minutes to... More

The salad was delicious, the paella was missing flavour. We had the chicken and rabbit paella and it was quite disappointing since I had a big craving for it.

We walked by this restaurant, located off La Ramblas, and were drawn by the crowd huddled outside its doors viewing the posted menu. Based on remarks by some that this was a return visit, we decided to dine there and were very pleased. The menu is easy to follow, clearly detailing in English each dish. The prix fixe menus offered... More

I understand this is a popular restaurant so I'm always being a easy costumer. But is it unreasonable to ask the detail of the menu? The staff told me "there is English underneath" What??

it was nice . Sucked in cos it was busy with queues, but wouldn't go back. Food was nice. Price was fair. Decor lovely. But it was nothing special. If in area and don't have to queue, give it a go . But it was nothing wow!

Our hotel was actually located in front of La Fonda. Long line especially during dinner but it moves fast. We ordered the menu del dia for 2. We had black noodles with squid, paella, ensalada and custard for desert. The food was awesome!

Excellent restaurant close to the La Rambla area. Food was SUPERB, especially the swordfish entre, Salmon entre and Crepe with Nougat Ice Cream Filling with Chocolate Sauce. The sangria was delicious as well. We loved the food so much we returned for a 2nd evening. Service was good & waiters were attentive & helpful. Shall most certainly return next time!
