Best meal we had in Barcelona

I absolutely loved the food at this restaurant. The paella was excellent and the salmon that we ordered was one of the best I have ever had. It is quite a busy place; we spent half an hour on line outside but it was definitely worth it. As a result, the restaurant seems a bit understaffed and the... read more

There was a three course lunch special which is a good: drink, entree, and dessert. I came for the Paella. The paella was quite good as was the wine. I enquired about a bun and charged twice for it. Sadly, our server disappeared, literally no where to be seen. We had to ask another waiter for the bun, then the... More

The food was cold and tasteless. To get service here you need to be from asia. After almost two weeks in Barcelona the worst dining experince so far. With best regards JORSE und Malin from sweden.

We went there with open minds. Queued up for about 15 minutes to get seated. We presumed since there were queues it had to be good. I read mixed reviews on tripadvisor while waiting to be seated. And I now completely agree with some of them. The restaurant was so busy however I have never seen staff less attentive. They... More

After trying out a series of average and expensive places, we went to this restaurant. We did not have a reservation but managed to get a table when we arrive at about 8.20 PM for dinner. They had only few tables left and in the next 5 minutes everything was filled up. The restaurant was huge. And once we got... More

People queue up to get a table here but it was a reasonable wait for us approximately 15-20 minutes. Service was quick and staff were efficient. The La Fonda starter sampler was a good choice. What topped my list though was the black paella. Their paella servings is for 2 persons but it could actually be for 3-4 persons specially... More

This place was amazing. We arrived and it looked really busy but they still managed to fit us in. Even though we got in we thought it would take ages to get our food but it was faster then an average restaurant. Overall it was great and it had free wifi which was and added bonus.

I went to La Fonda following a recommendation from a friend and I wasn't disappointed. The food was lovely and I wished I could have tried a few more things on the menu. The service wasn't amazing, but it was what I would expect from the a busy restaurant.

We stumbled upon this gem after being ripped off on the high prices of beer and food on La Rambla. The food is really excellent and worth the wait. This is not a fast food joint so be patient. The food is prepared fresh. We had the seafood paella and rated it the best of our 8 day stay in... More

This restaurant was opposite a hotel we were staying in and decided to visit after seeing people queuing to get in every night. In summary the food was very good and affordable. On the downside the service was very poor. I got the impression that they were short staffed with the waiting staff under immense pressure. The staff did not... More
