This place Sucks with big letter "S". Service is non existent and preferential to locals. Whatever they call "tapas" is very cheap, pre-cooked food sold at close to meal prices. For example, canned tuna on tomatoes (called tuna/tomato salad sold at over 7 euro). It's seems it's all about location and beer, which makes people come there. If you are... More

Suggested by a local, this is a traditional tapas restaurant in the Eixample District. Had lunch inside and it was clearly a mdi-day stop for the locals. Service was outstanding and the food very good. Probably would not have gone in unless it was recommended since it looks nondescript. I am glad I did.

Good and small place. Food is ok, nothing special, but is always crowded. There is no terrace, but in winter is a good place to go.

Was going to eat here in the evening but after experiencing the waiting staff in the afternoon decided to pass. Had to ask for the check three times to pay for a couple of drinks. Not good

Great place for a quick lunch. Full of locals at lunch. Had a quick tapas. Great bravas but croquetas were cold. Nice terrace in a nice location if you are overwhelmed by all the other choices on the rambla catalunya.

Typical Catalan tapas place in a city center with great patatas bravas, pan con tomate and pimientos de padron! Great sea food too! They have a outdoor terrace and they serve food until 1 am!

When you step down in La Bodegueta, there is no way to leave without tasting a number of tapas. Even if you are not hungry you will feel that you need it

We sat at the bar and the chefs and other employees were very friendly. We found the restaurant through Rick Steves' book, and we weren't disappointed. My daughter and husband shared octopus and really enjoyed it, I stuck with the vegetarian tapas. The chocolate cake was a great dessert. I took a picture of the chefs looking at Rick Steves'... More

The restaurant has a great Barcelona vibe to it.....friendly, fast and great service. The menu tapas range was excellent with so many exciting dishes. The fried fresh anchovies and the calamari were excellent. The roasted eggplant salad was excellent. All good.

We had read the review in Time Out and seen the queues to get a table, so we put our name down and waited an hour for a table - gosh the food was poor. The croquettes were cold and the tortilla was stodgy, tasteless and cold. I won't go on to describe the rest of the food - carb... More
