Loved the atmosphere. It was buzzing on a weeknight and we waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Price were reasonable, service was attentive, food was amazing! Really glad to be recommended this place!

We stopped here at lunch time on recommendation from friends who had visited a few weeks earlier and said this was one of their favorites. We had a great time here, but dialed our patience meters up significantly because they were packed and we waited for a good bit just to be noticed. No rush, no worries: the best preparation... More

The place may look a bit run down, but it has the air of old Barceloneta times, get in have a look at the tapas and order... if there is nice weather sit outside and enjoy people passing by. Sardines, octopus and some more are a must! On top of that is really cheap compared to tourist traps nearby!

Atmosphere was great if you want to experience a lively crowd and very cheap Catalan Tapas. It was very busy in the evening but staff found us a table for four. The jug of Sangria set the scene! food plentiful we tried many dishes. Some brilliant others average. Very good if you want to get away from the main street... More

Visited for lunch and managed to get a table outside. Food was great, also excellent value for money. Was busy with locals and a few tourists. The waiters were attentive and helpful as we don't speak Spanish. Large estrellas were only €3 too. Excellent little restaurant all round.

We had a very pleasant experience, if you expecting waiter service to your table and a calm chilled restaurant don't go however if you want a bar full of locals having a good time and bar tapas that is fun and tasty then I recommend giving it a go and we would go back :-)

A great find in Barceloneta. Busy bar full of locals and a few tourists. All the food we tried was great. Service can be a bit slow occasionally but they are super busy and do their best. All waiters were very friendly and helpful. We managed to get a table easily and quickly on both nights we ate there. Tried... More

Visited here with the missus on our stay in Barcelona. We wanted to experience a traditional tapas bar and this went some way to achieving that goal. The restaurant cum bar was packed, and after a short wait we managed to get the waiter to understand that we wanted some food. My Catalan is not the best and neither is... More

Not sure what the last few reviews are about. this place is very good! Two foodies from Montreal and we have been twice and plan on going again! The Catalonian Bread was delish! The Squid amazing! and the "Callos" aka Tripe was so good! go here if you have a chance! oh ya, the wine is very good and inexpensive!
