Stumbled across this place on a Saturday afternoon, was packed. waited for a little while for a table to become available, as it was full of locals. large offering of tapas, very traditional, and very good value. our lunch for 2 with beer and wine came to €35......total... wish this place was around the corner from where I live.

This place was recommended by a friend and everything he said was right. The tapas were great. We had around 6 or 7 different taps and they were all very tasty. The service was fast and helpful.

Whilst the unassuming exterior and décor of this restaurant may not point to much, do not be put off from this authentic gem on the streets of Barceloneta! Beautiful food, great quick and friendly service in a cosy environment, surrounded by locals - what's not to like?!

A rather small place close to the beach in Barcelona, this place doesn't have a huge menu but offers quite the variety of tapas and sea food. The food was very good (we tried 5-6 different things) and it tasted fresh. The place was on high demand, don't be discouraged if it's packed. Just go in, tell them what kind... More

This is a real locals type of place. The tapas, wine and beer were completely fantastic and prepared on the spot. Nothing is in English, but they will try really hard to help you! The food and prices were both exceptional!!!

This place is small and local (or used to be) and it's right by the beach. You may find it hard to get attention of the staff but the decor and atmosphere is absolutely amazing and vibrant. It's one of those gems you can find in this city. Make sure you order the octopus and the grilled pepper. The best... More

We had a great tapas dinner in Barceloneta at Bar Jai-Ca. There are two restaurants side by side and both were full but we were lucky to get an outside table - even in winter!!! The patatas bravas was delish as was the octopus... And don't forget to order the green chillies - 1 in 20 will bring tears to... More

Thans to this small bar, we experienced wonderful atmosphere of Barcelona. Tapas was amazing, very delicious and not too expensive. Even if staff didnt speak English, it wasnt problem with comunication. On another hand the staff are very friendly and helpfull people. In two weeks we came back there a few times and we werent disappointed.

I have never tried real Spanish tapas before. Some friends recommended this small place, which was not so easy to find. We got a table outside, which was pretty neat and saved us from the crowded inside. The tapas were great, so was the sangria, and that made us come back the following evening. Not all the waiters speak English,... More

We had a really lovely meal in this small but cosy restaurant. Mostly locals eat here which gives it a great atmosphere. Really delicious tapas!
