This family (generations) owned and run ice cream parlour is much more than just ice cream as they have a floor with a lo carte choices including the famous horchata drink, they also make amazing torron and various sweets. I am just sad they changed...their historical green logo based name boards into blue. I told them so as well. I have been going to this place yearly for over ten years. Recommended.More

We had the delicious lemon gelato but the almond cookies called "Figurets" were to die for. We also had another almond cookie shaped like an almond but filled with a smooth creamy center.

This place was SO good, we have gone back several times. In the midst of a heatwave, we went there to sit down and cool off, both can be done upstairs where you can order. The pistachio ice cream is done with roasted nuts and...has a true pistachio taste with depth. The chocolate truffle also has depth. A delightful find that is always busy on the main floor, but there’s always room for you upstairs!More

Loved the Horchata at this place and the ice creams are excellent too. I am lactose intolerant and Horchata was yummy and good for me.

My wife and I visited this place to cool down after a long day of shopping. I got a cone with a scoop of strawberry and a scoop of almond, and my wife had pistachio. I can't recommend the almond enough. Good old fashioned ice...cream. They also do shakes. Well worth a visit.More

This is one of the last survivors of classic times...if you want to taste some old traditionals products this is the place. Excelent "Horxata" and perfect "Helado de turron" in summer and perfect "turron" in winter". Totally recommended for sweet lovers. some little choice for...diabetis people.More

We bought some Turrones and almond shaped sweets and some chocolates home as gifts. This shop is located near to our hotel and we saw a group of girls in the shop buying more and telling us that it is so good .No trying in the...shop. I was trying to decided between two chocolate flavors to compare. I asked politely to try them both. The manager rudely stated I could never try both. I had to try one and commit. If I didn't like the first I better blindly commit and...like the next. I had planned on buying one. Time to go some place else that's a little friendlier to their customers.More

This pretty much the best gelato we've even had. It was exceptionally flavorful and not overly sweet. The coffee & hazelnut are the most intense we've had and we also came back and tried the pistachio and coconut. The prices are very reasonable and far...better than the stand a little further east towards the church.More

I recommend this family run business (we actually met one of the family members shown in their brochure)! Good quality and nice selection (but not a crazy selection like other places).

This is one of maybe 4 places in Barcelona where you can find a traditional horchata. The place is owned by the original family after 5 generations and I recommend trying one of everything. They specialize in their products and the limited options are authentic....Try plain horchata or perhaps with a scoop of chocolate ice cream or iced coffee - you really cannot go wrong. I would strive to make multiple visits to this place every chance I'm in Barcelona.More
