Nice Indian Food and Hospitality

I liked the food here, I ordered Kofta and Samosa, both were prepared nicely and service was also really quick and good.

Finding a pure veg restaurant in Spain was a pleasant surprise but the staff ruined it for us. Our mistake was that we did not know we had to reserve before going, and were clearly told this on finally reaching the restaurant (not many cabbies know where this street is). The manager did not even come to us and just... More

I have eaten in several Govinda restaurants in a few countries and this one was just as lovely as any other. Food was fantastic and the staff very friendly. Great choice!

We saw this place and thought it's unusual compared to all the other places to eat in Barcelona. A refreshing change from the usual tapas. We found the staff to be really welcoming and friendly. The food was unusual but pleasant and fresh. Clean tasting, not saturated in fat, salt, sugar and colourings - but still very tasty. This isn't... More

We visited Govinda restaurant on 5th September 2015. The food was aweful and did not taste fresh at all. Would not recommend to anyone at all. No where near Indian restaurant. We had vegetable kofta and puri (but it tasted as if it was cooked 2-3 days ago).

Food was okay.. service was good. Unfortunately food didn't quite hit the spot for Indian cuisine.. very different from what we are used to having. Very bland taste. One good thing was that we didn't need to 'look for vegetarian food' on the menu, as it's a vegetarian restaurant.

Pretty bad experience with the restaurant. The restaurant has tried to make changes to the conventional Indian recipes by adding some random ingredients mainly being paneer bhurji in samosa! The food was also oily and bland. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Its more suited to someone who hasn't ever tasted Indian food.

Went to this restaurant on recommendation from our hotel receptionist. The ambience is decent and the service is pretty good. Regarding the food, if you are craving for Indian Food, this is a favorable choice but do ensure you do compare the same to the taste found in India. Also, it looked a tad expensive vis-a-vis other Indian restaurants in... More
