On a little square off La Rambla. Hindu cuisine, all veggie. Not expensive at all. Lovely staff, laid back ambience. Curries, salads and freshly pressed juice.

I have been visiting this restaurant for the past 7 years. Food quality is good . But over the years, the price is going up very past The restaurant looks tired. The cleanliness is coming down. There are many alternate choices now at much lesser prices. May not visit next time.

My wife and I went there, looking at rave reviews on TripAdvisor. Food was below par, made with supermarket pre-cooked portions like veg. nuggets with tomato sauce passing off as Koftas. Whole wheat rotis were heated store-bought wheat tortillas. Thali (full meal) was very expensive even by European standards and not worth it (was tastier than koftas though). We went... More

This was a gem of a restaurant for lunch just off the Ramblas de Estudios. Extremely well priced in relation to other restaurants, friendly and helpful staff who quickly adapted to variations on the menu. The vegetarian Indian food was light and very subtly spiced, the deserts were excellent. One of the most interesting and enjoyable Indian meals I have... More

Govinda's weekend menu has a lot of choices for a reasonable price, about 17-18 euros with 2 plates, bread, dessert and a drink (they don't serve alcohol). The food is really delicious and the dessert was really tasty as well! They even have vegan ice cream! I'll definitely go back!

If you are wanting vegetarian food Indian style then it is a good option. I had briyani which not anywhere close to authentic was tasty nevertheless. A vegetable curry with cottage cheese was equally good. The cooking style is Indian though taste not truly representative. However it is a good vegetarian restauarnt and if craving for home food (for Indians)... More

We tried the veg thali and also roti wt cauliflower and potato curry. The dishes were pretty good and served generous quantities. The paneer and the rotisserie were strictly average ,but the rest of the fare was good. Tha ambience was pleasnt and clean, great location, service by the ever smiling Esther was excellent. Certainly worth a visit for any vegetarian food... More

This restaurant is close to the North end of La Rambla. Definitely worth visiting if like me you have an interest in vegetarian food. Good flavours and some interesting choice of dishes. I and my family are not so keen on paneer (indian cheese). Paneer features a lot on the menu, even in Samosas, so this limited our options a... More
