Good Food, Good Atmospher,Great Price

This restaurant was recommended by a friend for good paella along with being a nice place. Well it was in a not so touristy part of town which gave it added fun. It was white table clothes but not stuffy. The paella was great. We had two different types, with each large enough for two to three... read more

We were recommended Elche by friends and our host in Barcelona. We were not disappointed, the service was excellent, the food was great and my teenagers love the nice atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

Excellent restaurant. Very nice ambiance, superb service and culinary delight. Great combination to have a great time, not to mention the great wine list and luscious desserts.

This is a traditional restaurant specialized in paella and local rice food. It is not located close to the tourist spots but is one block away from Paral-lel metro station. The food is very well prepared and the portions are adequate. The price is honest and the service excellent. The environment is well maintained and the restaurant has two dinning... More

As a "single" was still shown to one of the best tables in the place. Was a "walk in" with no reservation....and what a find! Nice atmosphere, really good, authentic food and very elegant service. Try the fried spring onions...they are to die for.

We went here on our final night in barcona. Fortunately we stumblec upon it by accident. The staff were friendly and the restaurant had a very elegant look and feel to it. Prices were very reasonable and foodwas very tasty-wine was great too!! The only negative for me was that when we first sat down, before we placed our order... More

I had not planned to come here until my friend said he wanted paella. After a terrible meal the night before, I looked online for paella restaurants and came across this location. Only a couple of metro stops away from Plaza Catalunya, this place is an unexpected find. I really think it deserves a higher ranking than it has here.... More

Neighborhood Profile
Montjuic
Beyond the four columns standing guard at the Plaça Espanya, beyond even the extravagant and colorful fountains guiding your way up the boulevard, stands the impressive and towering structure of the Palau Nacional, the national museum. At this very spot in front of the cascades of the central fountain, Freddie Mercury and Montserrat Caballe gave the performance of their lifetimes to welcome the 1992 Olympic Games to this magnificent city. And true to its anticipation, the games transformed the city, reimagining the mountain of Montjuic with the development of an arena, stadium, and many other sporting facilities that are open to visitors year-round. Surrounding the adjacent side of the plaza are well-established hotels catering to business guests and a shopping mall transformed out of a historic bullfighting arena.
