Description: Awarded a Michelin star in 2008, and named one of the 80 hottest new restaurants in the world by Conde Nast Traveler, Cinc Sentits has created a buzz in Barcelona. Prodigal chef Jordi Artals playful experiments with Catalan tastes, aromas, textures, layers and sensations is cutting edge stuff. He recommends the seasonal Cinc Sentits tasting menu, and letting each course bring a new and exciting sensation to your palate. (Theres also a shorter, quicker version). Youll feast on Iberian suckling pig from Extremadura, deep water prawns from Palams, lamb from the Pyrenees, and veal from Galicia dishes are well described in English. All this, plus professional family-run service in a minimalist setting.

Had a great time with their gastronomiic menu - many interesting and imaginative dishes - including various takeoffs on tapas. Good room and nice staff. Worth the effort and price.

Cinc Sentits is a small restaurant with a very dedicaded and friendly staff. The food is playful and uses local dishes as a starting point with modern style cooking. Conceptualy a combination of new nordic local ingredients, combined with the going back to the roots style of DInner by Heston i London. The staff is not very big så there... More

Had the chefs tasting menu with wine pairings. Unusual courses and wines perfectly prepared, explained and matched. A singularly phenomenal experience with superb service. Reasonably priced for what you get. Only surprise was that people weren't lined up at the door to get in.

This restaurant gives you an amazing experience. If you have a special occasion this is the place to go. The cost is WELL worth it, nothing like it. Go hungry and with plenty of time as this is truly a sensory experience.

It can be all too easy for restaurants seeking to gain or maintain a lofty reputation to turn to gimmickry in preparation and display, and affectation in service. That was not the case when we dined recently at Cinc Sentits. Although we were admittedly a bit skeptical at the start when presented with a shot of warm maple syrup, chilled... More

Two of us had the Sentits menu (€85) with matched wines (€50). The food was excellent, the wines very good, and well matched (even a dessert wine not served with dessert), and the time flew by, staff were attentive, I couldn't believe we were in there 2hrs 40mins. In particular the trout roe in leek sauce/soup was fantastic and the... More

If you want bad wine and salty food, all presented in a clever way then this is the place for you. The atmosphere is cave like, and is like a long dark hallway. We had the smaller of the two dinner tasting menus with wine pairings. The wine was horrible (to much alcohol taste, no complexity and most labels appear... More

Everything was simply perfect! We had lunch and decided to have the tasting menu. What a treat! Every course was exceptional by itself. Each of them was described by the very professional staff. The Spanish wine we had by the glass was also pretty good. All in all, one of the best restaurants we've ever been to!
