Awarded a Michelin star in 2008, and named one of the 80 hottest new restaurants in the world by Conde Nast Traveler, Cinc Sentits has created a buzz in Barcelona. Prodigal chef Jordi Artals playful experiments with Catalan tastes, aromas, textures, layers and sensations is cutting edge stuff. He recommends the seasonal Cinc Sentits tasting menu, and letting each course bring a new and exciting sensation to your palate. (Theres also a shorter, quicker version). Youll feast on Iberian suckling pig from Extremadura, deep water prawns from Palams, lamb from the Pyrenees, and veal from Galicia dishes are well described in English. This is not the first time we have been to this type of restaurant with a tasting menu but have to say it was one of the best. From the knowledgable staff who could explain the menu in a variety of languages to the fabulous twist on traditional Catalan dishes this is a must visit restaurant in Barcelona

What a delight our meal was! We had the wine pairing as well and everything was magnificent. If you want a special experience in Barcelona, be sure to make your reservation for a lovely meal here. Bravo!

Have dined at Cinc Sentits several times over the years and it is always a pleasure. My partner recently booked it for my birthday in May. The attention to detail in each and every one of the courses on the tasting menus is without a doubt superb. It almost seems a shame to eat them! If you have a special... More

Another good recommendation from Luxe editor Slightly more formal and special occasion compared to Disfrutar but similair commitment to inventive/high quality modern Catalan food Definitely do the tasting menu and allow yourself the time to experience the variety of different sensory experiences

Behind an unassuming facade of a roller door on a suburban street, Cinc Sentitis delivers a fantastic food and wine experience. This is an intimate restaurant, which, from the moment we walked in, lived up to expectations. The staff were highly professional and at the same time happy to answer questions with good humour and interest. We had the tasting... More

This really was one of the best meals I've ever eaten. We did the 5 course tasting menu but it felt like more as several courses consisted of several plates! We shared one wine pairing as it was lunchtime and this was not a problem! The staff were accommodating and friendly and the food was exceptional... If you are looking... More

Fantastic restaurant and one of the best I've ever tried. Super interesting food and wine and very well presented also. The taster menu and wine menu are absolutely great. Expect around 200EUR per person but it's absolutely worth it. Has only 7-8 tables so booking is required.

Had the 8 course tasting menu with paired wines at 100 euro each for the food and 50 euro for the fine, certainly an extravagance but worth it for a special occasion. Both food, wine, service and experience all top notch.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
