We had a good dinner in this restaurant. We selected a tasting menu, which was served very correctly and efficiently. Food is a bit sophisticated, but not exaggerated. The scenery is very nice, as this was an old building designed and built by Gaudi. It is a smart style restaurant, and I can only recommend a visit.

We went here for our last night on our most recent trip to Barcelona, looking for something a little special. With that in mind, we came here for the chance to visit this historic building, but also with high hopes for the restaurant itself. With those hopes, all our expectations were met and this was, truly, one of the best... More

Wow! Came for lunch, and were "early" arrivals, around 13:30. Very friendly greeting, and waiter was gracious and helpful. My wife had the tasting menu while I had a starter and main. We both began with a shrimp appetizer that was wonderful. She followed with both a fish (tuna) meat (rabbit) course followed by a wonderful dessert. I had grilled... More

We made reservations easily online prior to our trip - and it was well worth the planning! This is a must see, must do restaurant experience. We selected from the tasting menu and it was outstanding! Each dish was decadent, each outdoing the previous one. We dined on rabbit, lamb and seafood amongst others all uniquely prepared and presented. The... More

Without doubt the best restaurant I have been to in Barcelona . I chose the tasting menu which is 50 euros worth of high quality food over 5 courses . Waiters are exceptional and it is a beautiful room. Nice atmosphere but probably suits a couple more than a big group

Although we had a fairly long wait for a table (we did not have reservations), there is a great bar in front and the bartenders made us fell like regulars. The food was well worth the wait. Great service and moderate prices.

My wife and I joined a friend for dinner at Casa Calvet (Carrer Casp, 48), an excellent restaurant located in a building designed by the renowned Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and built in 1899. My wife ordered the Amanida de Primavera ('Spring Salad') as a first course, and I had the Lasanya de Pebrot Vermell ('Red Pepper Lasagna'). We both... More

We were very excited about going to this restaurant when we saw the outside facade designed by Gaudi as we walked to our hotel. The service was impeccable, with what felt like our own waitress. The taster menu was fabulous, as were the wines picked by one of the waiters after our request for some assistance in choosing. The meal... More

What a fantastic experience. Great for a special night out if you like great food but not huge meals. A place to dress up a bit and spend a relaxing time with friends for a great dining experience. Had complementary starter soup and dessert. You can order small starters and desserts for a lighter meal. No bar scene or outdoor... More
