After reading the reviews decided to have dinner there, we were a large group holidaying in Barcelona, we sat outside in the closed off area, lucky we did as it was bit windy, had a view of the beach until the sun went down, very comfortable. We were all keen on the Lobster Paella, our waiter made some recommendations and... More

If you approach the outside area of the restaurant it looks a little run down. However the food is great and well worth the price (expensive) you will notice that many local businessmen come for lunch so it can fill quickly. The restaurant is famous for its Paella

We could not leave Barcelona without one paella lunch (we were given good advice about not eating paella, which is very heavy, for dinner). A brilliant, sunny, warm but not hot day. We took a chance and wandered over there without a reservation. Because we were early and promised to give up our table after an hour and a half,... More

Good starters. Jamon and anchovies were very tasty. Grilled squid and sole were perfect. Staff was nice. Able to recommend some good wines and skilled. Highly Recommended. Not too touristy. very good restaurant.

The seafood was amazing and the service very high-quality! Even though we did not have a reservation the very friendly staff managed to find a table for us!

I just wish we had had time to visit this restaurant at least one more time. Everything we had was very delicious and the dishes carried to neighbouring tables looked just as good. We had a table booked inside the restaurant, which turned out to be a good thing even on a nice sunny day, as the place was full... More

We went to dinner at Can Majo last week on vacation and thoroughly enjoyed their paella! We shared the seafood paella and it was delicious, very large portion with a lot of fresh seafood in it. It was a little windy but still excellent setting to eat outside and enjoy the view of the boardwalk and ocean. Would definitely go... More

We booked a table from Can Majo well beforehand and got a table from outside which was the best part of the dinner experience. Our expectations on the food itself were very high based on the reviews read from Tripadvisor but what we got in the end was just average food with excellent view. For starters we ordered lobster salad... More

Great atmospheric restaurant in Barceloneta. Narrow streets and great cooking smells entice you to Can Majo. Excellent fresh seafood cooked by an accomplished chef make this restaurant special. Great wine list with some wonderful Albariño wines. Recommended.

We lunched here our last day with a good Catalan friend and feasted on sea snails, octopus, paella and great wines.
