Best paella, amazing seafood restaurant. Great location as well - who doesn't like looking at the beach while eating a great meal? Service is friendly and attentive.

As our special treat meal of the holiday we booked Can Majo - we were not disappointed with the food, location and generally the whole restaurant. Some of the staff however were extremely off-hand and rude. However, its the owner/manager that took our order, and he could not have been more helpful and professional. The menu was varied with excellent... More

Had a quick dinner here before a show. The paellas we had (codfish and vegetables and the Can Majo special paella) were both really tasty... we had had mediocre paella previously. This was definitely a step up. We sat inside because outside was booked; the decor was fine and the paellas coming out of the kitchen all smelled great. We... More

Our hotel concierge recommended this restaurant located on the beach in Barcelona and a short walk from our hotel. Although they had outdoor seating we opted to sit inside and enjoy the ambience/decor. We ordered the lobster paella Can Major style and were amazed by the taste. Probably one of the Best paella dishes we've had so far. Definitely worth... More

Was here 2 years ago and the quality of paellas used to be a lot better. We ordered the seafood paella. The shrimps tasted sandy and were not cleaned. The other seafood tasted stale as if it had been stored in the fridge for a while. We raised the issue to the waiter and another person and were not provided... More

We ate at Can Majo in December and the food was excellent. This time the food was boring and disappointing. The calamari was chewy and a bit soggy. The fish was dry and poorly presented. The veal entrecote was tugh and very grisly. Sorry, but this meal was a bust.

We have eaten a special paella with seafruit and we have drunk a good white wine (a good cave). The price was a little over the average but it was more than appropiate. If one day we come again in Barcelona we return here. Ps chocolat cake very good!

Family of 4 went for Sunday lunch. I booked a table via email and had a table at the front of the terrace overlooking the paseo and beach. Three of us had the paella which had some of the freshest seafood in a paella I have ever had. Quite delicious. Would definitely go again if in Barcelona

Lovely position just of the beach fantastic looking lobster paella and gorgeous fish dishes. Staff were super-friendly and when they realised I was gluten free were really helpful with ordering and providing GF bread. Very good place to eat.

If you are in Barcelloneta this restaurant is a classical destination to eat paella (cooked at the moment) and fresh fish. In my opinion it's quite good but not outstanding. In the average. Better a table outside. Staff a bit too formal.
