We liked how the restaurant looked and its location close to the metro. We were lookin to have our wedding there, but the two times we ate there made us change our minds. The food is terrible and the service is poor. When we told the manager, he did not really care. Trust me and spend your money somewhere else.

Went there with a large group of people. A beautiful place, but the food where quite boring, maybe because we were so many and they did not have the time to put their heart into the cooking.

A little out of the way but very good! The restaurant is in an old castle from the 16th century. One of the walls is from the 11th century. A true Catalan experience from start to finish. The Bacalao was really good. One thing, don't try the item on the menu called "secret". the pork was tough and chewy. Service... More

A real Catalan experience, beside a beautiful old building with a menu that (my Catalan companion told me) has true local food with its own occasional twist. Its goal is not to compete against fancy restaurants but offer fine dining with Catalan trust in hearty simplicity. Very good service, top-quality ingredients, comfortable and handsome setting.

I attended a private dinner event at this restaurant. The service was excellent and the wine and duck dinner were exquisite. I've had duck before and wasn't too impressed but after having it here, I love it! It is perfect for a romantic dinner.

We can highly recommend this restaurant, it is within a ten minute walk of the underground but out of the main part of the city. The service is outstanding, ask for help with any menu items you fancy trying and advice is readily provided for a wine choice (we can recommend a Cava of the region). This is a typical... More

This restaurant and the Suquet de L'Almirall in the Pot area were excellent introductions to the wonderful cuisine of this Mediterranean area of Spain, or Catalan. Excellent service also. And the history of the Can Cortada would make it worth a visit even is the food was merely good.
