Don't share this address with too many people, because you want to keep this for yourself... :-) No, of course not. We had a three course menu for about 40€, wine incl. -wonderful tuna salad and turbot with olives, lovely deserts,.. and excellent service. Reservation is a must.

First to say this resto is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Also it is very popular , so I would reserve to avoid disappointment. The resto is small but with a great atmosphere and the waiters are all on the ball and service is excellent! The food is great I could not fault my meal - the guinea fowl and... More

There is not much to say but - it was a great experience in every sense! Everything was super tasty. The dishes were very creative, combing meat or fish with vegetables and fruits (e.g. apples) with great sauces and spices. Normally, I am not such a big fan of main courses with a sweet notion, but this was just delicious!... More

Cafe De L'Academia served my partner and I some of the best food we've ever eaten, if not the best. We are both real foodies and eat out A LOT. We wanted something that was a little bit different to the tapas which we had overdosed on and this is the perfect cure - whilst still being authentic Catalan. It... More

Been here twice now. Good food and value. Outside tables are nice if you go early. Menu del dia included wine!

One of our best meals in the two weeks we were in Spain/France. The Sea Bass was outstanding and perfectly prepared. The only downside was the server was a little surly but food was brought out in a timely manner.

We had three lunches here, all simple, all with the freshest ingredients, all beautifully prepared and presented. It's a busy, unself-consciously comfortable place, well-located on pleasant Plaça San Just in the heart of the Barri Gótic. Excellent carpaccios of beef and of tuna, great bullabesa and escudella, lovely salads, melt-in-the-mouth cod in various traditional ways, swell desserts, good wine list,... More

Had no reservation but showed up right after they opened for dinner and they arranged a table for us even if we had our baby in a stroller. Even if we were only two they moved us to a table for four when they saw that it would be better for our 10 month old son. Food was impeccable and... More
