Wow

So glad we found this through trip advisor and thanks to the previous reviewers! Had one of the best meals here, entrees were great but our two mains of rack of lamb and stuffed quail with a fantastic bottle of red wine in a lovely setting was unforgettable. This is a very romantic restaurant that serves the most amazing food. It was recommended to us by the concierge at our hotel and I couldn't have been more grateful. It offers local style cuisine with a modern flair in a very understated way. Well worth a visit.

We had dinner here the first day of our visit and we barely controled ourselves to not come back (many places to see in just two days). We ordered squid and salmon which were great. (best squid i ever ate). Also we ordered a local dessert - Crema Catalana, which was also really tasty.

We found this restaurant in the Guardian's list of top 10 restaurants in the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona. It is a small place, with 10/12 tables set up outside in the placa, and a cosy, warm inside restaurant. We had not booked, so we were given one of only two spare tables inside. The menu is reasonably priced and includes... More

Me and my boyfriend ate lunch here. I took a salmon tartar with asparagus and it was delicious. My boyfriend ordered duck with orange sauce, he said it was the best duck he had ever had. We got the food very fast which was a big plus!

Great lunch here wall-to-wall. Inside seating and decor were soothing. Their bouillabaisse interpretation was intense and refined. Cannelloni was paper thin and meat filling was smooth and delicious. Catalan sausages, salmon tartar, and cod ceviche with chickpeas were all very nice.

Followed the Lonely Planet suggestion. This one is sooo good. Character, ambience, quality and excellent value. Lovely setting. Very popular with those in the know so try to arrive about 8.30pm. Don't miss it. Beats the highly commercial stuff.

Very good food in a small, ancient room with a warm atmosphere. Service was courteous and attentive, prices very reasonable. We'd happily eat here again.
