Came here twice for Pizza. Both times just for convenience. Thinking the second time would be better than the first. I would rate the pizza as good. The service though is terrible. Slow, hard to get attention and not firendly. Waiters avoid eye contact at all costs. It was busy the first time but not the second. If the service... More

Came here for lunch with my Godson, his older brother & their parents. The kids love this place. They enjoy the pizzas immensely and now the manager & some of the staff know them. Always an enjoyable experience - the food is decent, the ambience is fun, the staff are friendly and service is good. Nice!

The portion sizes of bruschetta were good; the pizza was tasty. But the toilets were horrible; there's actually a gap in the door where it doesn't fit to the frame correctly, so that people can see in. As the toilet stalls share an entrance hall to the female toilets, this is off-putting. The smell was grim and there were no... More

I only eat pizza there, the rest of the food is not that good honestly. Been eating pizza at Al Passatore for last 12 years and it is one of the few places in Spain that keep their standards. Also the prices are fair. The pizza tastes the same all these years and I appreciated that. The chefs changed a... More

I knew the place already, I've been there 2 years ago. The pizza is not bad, is it quite close to Italian pizza like taste and presentation. The ingredients are different than Italy, ex. tomatoes, cheese or salami. Anyway, pizza is better here than in many other places in Barcelona, believe me, I'm a true Italian man.

It took 45 min to get our meals since we ordered. If the food would've been any good and we would've get an apology for the waiting, I would've rated it with 3 stars. But, on the contrary, the food was bad, really bad. We ordered pastas and one risotto e funghi. The pastas ware overcooked and the sauces were... More

Good pizza place, worth a look if you want something different. Venue is fine, not much atmosphere or character, courses are about 8-12€ for pizza and pasta, and slightly more for any grill (10% extra for the terrace). Pizza was huge and great dough, the toppings plentiful but fairly simple. Many options available. A basic but pleasant dinner option.

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
