I went to Barcelona for a meeting and a friend of mine and I decided to go La Barceloneta fro dinner. The place was packed but we managed to get a table for 2 outside overlooking the water. It was beautiful. The service was grea. The wiater recommended a red wine that was superb and the fish and seafood were... More

We ate here in October, on a sunny, Sunday lunchtime as we had read a newspaper review recommending the paella. The frosty reception by the snooty staff in the lobby was so unwelcoming (because we hadn't booked a table in advance), we nearly turned round and left. Nevertheless, our family party of 6 plus my granddaughter (15 months) were finally... More

Was here early December with my girlfriend. Chose the restaurant as I was here some 4 times earlier with business partners. We got a quiet table with perfect sight on the kitchen and the harbor. Service very friendly and fast. We had prawns with squid and fish soup as starters, followed by seabass in salt. Desserts were mango sorbet and... More

Seafood restaurant near the harbour, good ambiance, the food was of a high standard, I enjoyed the starters and dessert a lot - The main course which was Sole was good, but I thought it could have been cooked better, it was still of a high standard but I had higher expectations.

Been to Barcelona twice and have had been to a dozen or so restaurants. Ate here with my wife - we had the fried prawns with garlic to start, the house sav. blanc white wine, the paella, and the beef tenderloin - then two flan's and a glass of dessert wine. It was about 110 EUR. I found the location... More

Our hotel recommended this place...it is VERY expensive (16-24 euros for appetizers) and nothing special at all...the staff is uptight and the whole experience felt like a tourist trap. So many other options in Barcelona...ate much better and much cheaper at a seafood bar in the Market. Not worth it.

This was our second visit here. We did not remember the name from our first visit a few years back (should have been the first sign). When we arrived, we kind of remembered our last visit. It is a nice location on the water. The paella and Fishermen's stew was really not great. I think each of us had 3... More

We ate here on a Sunday evening (I don't think the fishing fleet works on Sunday, so maybe not the best day to eat at a fish restaurant, but our fish was acceptable) around 8:00 PM because this is one of the restaurants in Barcelona where the kitchen is open throughout the day. It's not the easiest restaurant to find... More

I went to this restaurant during a weekend twice: the first one to try the sea food paella, the second one to eat it again before leaving! It's my favorite in Barcelona! The luna park close by was quite noisy.. Fast and kind service.

Our hotel concierge recommended this to us for Paella - we were not disappointed. Lovely room - looks like the inside of a 1930s ocean liner - efficient service and great paella. Also recommended was the Salmon and monkfish “carpaccio” with avocado - very good Did not go outside on the deck as we were there in November
