Mar De Cava was definitely one of our most unique and memorable dining experiences. The restaurant's décor is outstanding and the staff is very attentive. And the food? Don't get me started. Simply phenomenal. Fresh, exciting, and above all- super tasty! Do not hesitate, pay these guys a visit- they are worth it!

We found this unusual place in the city, and we were not expecting so much but we received a nice surprise when the waiter started to make nice jokes and brought the food which was really gourmet-styled. The place is actually a shared place with a furniture shop so it is very nicely decorated, (one of the most original decorations... More

One of the most interesting places in Barcelona! Unique concept of design boutique and restaurant with excellent menu. Place to be, place to make a shopping, place to eat well... Very recommended!

We went there twice for dinner, but was fully booked. So we decided to try our luck for the third time. If you want to go there for dinner, try to book in advance to prevent disappointment. The place is really lovely and the food was good. I ordered coca with sautéed pumpkin and it was good. The pumpkin is... More

Great fun and great food. The staff working there are informative and chatty. We had a magician in the restaurant the night we went, I understand themes change roughly weekly. Was a really funny way to wait for the first course. Don't go here expecting a quiet candle lit meal for 2. Go here expecting colour, laughter and something interesting.... More

Came here for la comida (mid-day meal) with my wife. Totally blown away. Great ambiance (a bright, fresh break from a lot of normally very heavy Spanish decor in most bars and cervecerías), awesome service, and best of all, GREAT FOOD!! My wife and I lean more towards salads and vegetable dishes than the normal jamón iberico and heavy fried... More

We wanted a light dinner near our hotel on a Saturday night when rain was predicted. We used TripAdvisor and landed at Mar de Cava. We loved it! It is an original space with good food, interesting design (some for sale), and even silent films. Each table has a different mood and style. We chose a mixed plate of meats,... More

Definitely a must to visit. The boss, Jordi, is a friendly and customer-oriented guy. He values his recipe and takes time to explain his dishes and make good recommendations. The place is very cosy and you can seeplenty of nicely designed art pieces. The food is very reasonably priced and most importantly very delicious.
