Description: Chulapio Bar a Crepes is a small bar in the heart of Barcelona, the Gothic Quarter, one of the most central and busy areas of the city. This cosy creperie perfectly combines traditional crepes and galettes from Britanny in France with cocktails, aperitifs and the best gin and tonics. The galettes, or savoury crepes are made from buckwheat flour, preserving the traditional Breton recipe. All ages are welcome at Chulapio. Not only tourists but locals and residents passing through the Gothic Quarter will come across this fun and energetic bar with a great atmosphere- the perfect mix for socialising and enjoy the great crepes and cocktails.

My husband and I searched for this place for a really long time. We decided we'd like to get a little lost, so we ventured out without a map and just a general vague idea of where things were. We kind of knew where Carrer Ample was, but we somehow seemed to miss it. We thought of giving up and... More

This is one of the best places I've been to in Barcelona. The bar is very small and cosy, the owner is there 5 days doing everything- he takes orders, makes coctails and cooks the crepes. And oh my, the crepes were just amazing. I had the one with nutella and strawberries, and I was left speechless. I definitely recommend... More

Me and my wife came here for Crepes lured by good reviews from Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. There's also very good sangria cava and a cool bartender. Definetely worth stopping by!

Excellent sangria and crepes! The bartender/owner puts a lot of care and effort into all he makes and the results show! Well done!

You have to go here! Brilliant crepes and wonderful service are only outshined by the music and great laidback atmosphere. Crepes are around 3-6 euros and beer is cheap. Loved it!

The crepes and the drinks we had were very tasty! The service was welcoming. We went there to relax for a short while around 6pm and had the place for ourselves only.

We (my wife and me) went for the crépes and did not regret our choice. Both the savory and sweet selection are great. I chose a Serrano-ruccola-goat cheese-honey crépe and it was delicious while my wife chose another one which was made with Sobrassada, she loved it too. We then ate nutella-banana crépes which were fine, but the classic combo... More
