Divine (cold) chocolate!

Was walking and looking for something to drink or an ice cream on a hot summer afternoon when I walked past Calle Tapineria and chanced upon this shop when I saw people standing outside looking at the ice cream. I walked in and decided to order the chocolate and churros but I decided to do away... read more

It's the last stop of mine before leave Barcelona. I just realize I haven't tried the Churros in Spain. So I ordered Churros with iced chocolate. It tastes nice. This store is in a small lane beside Catedral. Easy to find. Staff is ok, but she gave me 2 cups of Chocolate when I said I need to have with... More

By the time we reached Barcelona, we had tried various hot chocolate and churros in Madrid, Segovia, Toledo, Granada and Valencia. Valor, notwithstanding that it is a chain of chocolateria, remains a top personal favourite. The hot chocolate was rich, smooth and bittersweet, while the churros were crisp with an adequately dense centre. Quality was consistent throughout the outlets we... More

We discovered Valor's large stick churros with premium white chocolate, medium chocolate with orange and medium chocolate with cinnamon in Valencia, so after leaving Cafe de Opera and trying average churros at Granja Valeria, we returned to the source of our favorite churros con chocolate and we're not disappointed. Run, do not walk, but check the closing time and get... More

I never thought sipping chocolate could taste so good, but this was amazing! My kids (ages 9 and 12) ordered the chocolates and churros, and I ordered the fruit fondue. Both were unbelievably delicious. Don't miss this fun dessert!

Loved the churros but enjoyed the hot chocolate more as a rich sipping drink on cool nights. There is one close to the Cathedral of Barcelona. Facing Cathedral second street on left about 100 yards.

Chocolate con churros, what else is there to say? Valor makes delicious chocolates and churros. By circumstance we came across Valor and decided that chocolate was needed (like it is ever not needed). The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and polite, and even let us take photos of him making the churros. One order would have been enough... More

Super tasty churros with chocolate! Even the chocolate milk was really good. It was amazing - ended up finding the place just before we left for the airport!

Highly recommend this place the service was very good, polite and friendly, it's also a chocolatiers dream which brings me onto the quality of the food, one word... brilliant. It's a shame we found this place on our last day in barcelona as we would of been back again. The coffee was very nice too, much better than Starbucks and... More

Churros were average and chocolate was decent, but a good find for something that seems to be harder to find in Barcelona than one would have thought.
