Small chain in Barcelona, dependable fare

The variety and quality of food/tapas were good. We only had lunch, not dinner, but liked the branch in the older part of town, near the market, better than the one we saw on La Ramblas. We thought the prices were fair, as well.

Awful service, repulsive food and the price is crazy!! Dont go there. The beer is flat and "there is nothing to do about it", the sea food is packed with salt and burned, the burger is made from meat that tasted like 1 week old, the shrimps is to cooked. Dont go.

Nothing special with the food here - go to a smaller more cosy restaurant. If you are hungry and tired you can go in here...

This is a small chain with a few locations we went twice to the one a 108 Rambla de las Flores. The menu was extensive and the food was outstanding along with the service.

We wouldn't normally eat on the Ramblas but had tried this minichain on several occasions and so knew we were on to a sure thing. Very welcoming staff and enjoyed watching our dishes being cooked to order in the open kitchen. Very fresh and very tasty especially the chorizo and the avocado salad. perfect for a light lunch after visiting... More

After dining on La Ramblas for two nights and having to endure other diners smoking, we decided to "eat in". This little Tapas bar was pretty well packed when we arrived but we were ushered in and offered a seat by a friendly staff member. The food was pretty good but our "garlic & chilli prawns" could have done with... More

After being up for almost 48 hours after travelling we were looking for some tapas before heading off to bed. We arrived early (around 7pm) and received the last free table. The food was good; however when our burger arrived it was very rare. We pointed it out to our server and it was not a problem and he brought... More

We ordered mixed chicken and seafood paella and gazpacho to start as we were told the paella would take half an hour.... after about 10 minutes we were told the paella was ready so had to leave half of the gazpacho. We did so as the gazpacho was very plain. The paella arrived and can only be described as gooey.... More

Dear "Tomas 0", Our staff remember you well ( two teenage boys apparently). You enjoyed our lunch menu (12,95€), chilled gazpacho followed by a cooked to order paella (chicken, cuttlefish, langoustine, prawns, mussels and clams). We did indeed omit the chicken which you pointed out and our manager immediately offered to bring a marinated chicken brochette instead. You finished the... More

The tapas were too ... touristy. I had a 10% off coupon from my hotel so I thought why not? I don't know what it was, but one of the dishes left a very bitter, gross taste in my mouth. Try other tapas restaurants along Passieg de Gracia instead.

Dear "Hear¡thery27", Our restaurant is not located on Passeig de Gracia, it´s found on Rambla de les Flors 108 in front of the Boqueria market. We have no deals for 10% off the bill with any hotels and so only can think that you have mistaken us for another restaurant. Best wishes, the Taller de Tapas Team More

We just walked in from the rambla around 22:30 and the place was packed. We were sat in a long table together with other people. Food was very good and fresh though on the pricy side of tapas at this level. San Miguel from the tap. Overall an enjoyable evening.

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
