Cracking curry!

After walking all round town and wanting a tasty lunch everywhere near the beach was very overpriced. God bless this place for a cold beer and an excellent (very spicy!) curry.

Been here twice in the last week for a takeaway when we couldn't be bothered going out to eat. Starters & curries to a high standard but forget the nan! Not freshly made and sub-standard to the ones you get out of a packet! That said there are plenty of other goodies to have instead.

I always try to find good Indian food in every city that I visit and Barcelona was not an exception. We went here with my father and food was good but if you are Indian food lover like I am you will not be blown away by it.

On first impressions you may think this is a kebab shop, but it is not all it seems. We had a lovely Indian meal here. The shish kebab starters were lovely. The staff were very helpful and adjusted the spiciness Of the main course to our requirements. The price was reasonable too.

I come to this restaurant often when I want delicious Indian food. The menu has a good variety of plates with reasonable prices. I love the Palak Paneer and Tikka Masala. The service is also great, they speak English and are very friendly and accommodating to any requests you make. If you come to Barceloneta and want something other than... More

I was there with my family. I ordered a menu, and it was amazing. The Chicken Curry was exceptional. Kids liked the gyros plate as well. The prices are very good, menu is 11 Euro with 2 dishes and coffee included. The place is a bit small, but recommended for what you get. Do not be misgiuded by the Dönner... More

Probably the best Indian / Pakistani food in Barcelona. I've been to the others and have to give this the highest marks. I've lived in Barceloneta for 10 years and must have walked by Mar Brava hundreds of times before going in. Why? Because it doesn't look like an Indian / Pakistani restaurant...and the name is Mar Brava. The fact... More

Staying in Barceloneta

Neighborhood Profile
Barceloneta
Originally a fisherman’s quarter, this quaint area can’t escape its small village feel: laundry hanging over the narrow streets, old ladies clamoring at each other from their balconies and elder gentlemen playing games on short wooden benches gossiping the day away, Barceloneta could double as a film set. Artists line the boardwalk displaying their magnificently detailed sand structures making this the most visited beach in the city (the shirtless men working out might help too). You’ll know by the delicious aroma that you're in the right place to try some of the best and most authentic seafood including paella, Spain’s national dish.
