My wife and I came here on the recommendations of Trip Advisor. Arrived at 2:50. After 15 minutes sitting at an outside table and waiving to a waiter, we were finally addressed and informed they had already ran out of two menu of the day options. We ordered 1 each of the remaining primeros and 2 orders of the remaining... More

Thanks to other reviews I had lunch yesterday at this amazing place. Set courses for lunch (€10.90) 3 choices including a drink and you can choose between dessert or a coffee. Tapas sets available. The food is fresh and delicious. Tasty soup or salad for a starter, generous size. Definitely stop here, you will not be disappointed.

For a mere 12 Euros we had a beer, choice of starter, main course with bread and dessert. Everything was faultless and so... More

Situated in the Barrio Gotico, this little restaurant offers delicious food. I highly recommand the chorizo with cheese and the toasted bread with manchego cheese, tomato and lettuce. The waiter was very friendly and gave us great tips.

We can see this place from the window of the apartment that we are renting while spending 5 weeks in Barcelona. This restaurant while on our doorstep is 100% worth the visit. We shared a menu del dia which was incredible. The gratinated cauliflower with Gorgonzola was delicious. The grilled botifarra with courgette and tomatoes was also outstanding. We also... More

We were in Barcelona for one week at the end of May and this became our regular morning spot. If they were open for dinner, we'd have been here every night. The food is high quality with good prices, service is outstanding (the brothers are very welcoming), they were playing good music via a French online site, and there's just... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
