Fabulous place to chill and have a coffee on a Sunday afternoon. Food is excellent too and with great service, what do can you ask for?

Caravelle is a relatively new restaurant with an interesting menu, a very central location, minimal decor, and some of the worst service I've ever had in Barcelona. Keep in mind that this is difficult; service in this city is often appalling, but Caravelle somehow manages to win the prize of being the worst, twice. My first experience here was in... More

I don't usually reply to reviews, everyone has their opinion, and we don't always get it right. I'm sorry that you felt it necessary to post this review here and elsewhere on the web. However, I feel I must respond to your criticism of our staff, because although we may not provide the perfect service every time, our staff try... More

Great place near Ramblas, nice décor and good service. I had Morroccan eggs which was gorgeous and husband had bacon with parmesan mushrooms (why have I never thought to make this before, gorgeous and easy too). Would have liked to have visited for lunch/dinner too as I think it would be lovely. One down side was that the coffee was... More

It was late and we didn't feel like fancy food. So we had, a hamburger, grilled prawns, bbq corn and homemade fries with aioli. Yummy! With one red wine and two cokes it was 33 euro incl a small tip.

I took my very picky girlfriend (love you baby.. ;-) and semi-pro foodie with me to this place and we were both amazed by how much love is dedicated to the small details. Great place, best Cortado we had in BCN so far!

We visited for brunch after seeing the great reviews on TA. But however, felt the place was overrated. We had the scrambled eggs and French toast. Both were strictly OK. I have had better brunch in Barcelona. What was really disappointing was the service. It was seriously lacking. We had to wait for everything - the table, the service, the... More

Came here with a group of friends for Sunday brunch- amazing food, bloody Marys and great coffee. Had Moroccan eggs and Peri Peri chicken which was divine. It's hard to find good places for this kind of food in Barcelona so will be back soon !

Visited on basis of excellent Trip Advisor reports. We found the establishment small and plain with bland decor. The menu is very limited and the service casual and unenthusiastic. When we arrived, the place was 20% full at the most. We ordered hamburgers and coffee for lunch. The coffee was delivered quickly but we had to wait 30 minutes for... More

A quick review about this place I heard about by reading one of Barcelona's entertainment magazines. Service was good and did not have to wait much, although the place was not full. The place is small but cosy but what we really enjoyed was having the hamburger plate which tastes really good, great meat and taste, which is different to... More

After reading a blog about cafes in Barcelona my friend and I tried Carvelle. We went on a Sunday and had to wait for a table but as soon as I saw the menu and some of the food going out to diners I knew I wanted to eat there. We had a coffee at the bar and it was... More
