Description: This little gem of a tapas and wine bar is a real find, right in the heart of Barcelona's old city. Located in a charming old winding street in the vibrant Born neighbourhood, Ziryab serves its fantastic fusion brunch from 12pm - 4pm on Saturdays & Sundays with bossa nova guitar music (beautiful way to spend an afternoon... Spiced tea or pink minty Gin Tonic in hand!) And opens evenings for tapas from 7pm every day. Ziryab makes fusion tapas food that blends traditional Catalan and local tapas dishes with fresh spices and herbs from the Middle East, producing original and unique flavours! All home-made, all fresh and with wonderful tastes. Brunch dishes are tasty, big quantities and great prices! Check out on Ziryab's Facebook page which guitar music events are going on, or wine tasting sessions and Arabian nights story-telling evenings (send an email to reserve wine tasting sessions for your group!) Or just come to kick back, soak in the atmosphere and relaxing music and the excellent selection of Catalan and Arab wines!

Despite all the fake reviews I was impressed with the restaurant. A unique ambiance with unique dishes. Value was below average but a few things on the menu were very good. Solid 3.6/5

This was the best meal of our trip. Wonderful, flavorful tapas, and excellent wine. Also, loved the atmosphere/setting. It was worth the thirty minutes it took us to find the spot!

entering the calle is suprisingly unnoticeable so pay attention for the street name plaques on the walls. The bar is very small but cosy so either book before or come early to get a table. We have asked for a choice of dishes to try different tastes and we have enjoyed the selection. The Lebanese wine was suprisingly good quality... More

Me and my partner visited Barcelona for 4 days and we came to this place twice. It's a unique and comfortable place to be. The staffs are very friendly. My partner and I are foodies and we loved the menu. We tried some dishes that we have never tasted before. It was a lovely and satisfying experience.

Went with a large group of boys from London, the service was excellent, very attentive and always ensure our drinks are filled. Also, the barman/owner can make a good and mean mojito! Being an egyptian from London, I am an avid fan of middle eastern cuisines and was very curious how the fusion of flavours would work, it sure did... More

A return to Zyriab for the third time in 3 years from the UK, and it has just got better and better, A big thank you to Kate, Emlyn and the team for looking after us so well. We had some friends from New Zealand with us and one was a vegetarian - she was thrilled with the innovation and... More

We went there with a couple of friends and had a fantastic time... it is great to see that there are still some great places in this part of Barcelona, hidden and protected from the craziness surrounding it. The place is just really cozy and beautiful (I hope it can get a bit bigger one day) and a very nice... More

If you the type of person that likes the ride on the open roof double decker bus tour, then this place might not be for you. If you are curious, adventurous and enjoy friendly people, then you will make this place one of your favorites in Barcelona. I found this place walking on the side streets of Barcelona. I went... I really enjoyed the food and drink in Ziryab! Such a wide variety of food to try out and I liked most of what I tried! Always is going to be on or two you won't like, but you cannot knock them until you have tried it, and I'm very glad I did! It's a great, small and cosy bar/restaurant.... More
