Nice place, lovely staff

Chose this place as the menu looked nice. Restaurant is very nice and the staff were lovely. Starters were padron peppers and artichoke, (very different to what we've had before), the fish soup was very good. Lamb chops were nice, pork was OK. All in all an OK meal, but wouldn't return

The atmosphere of this restaurant looks a bit old. The food is decent but a little overpriced. The trip advisor discounts need a lot negotiations!

Had a very nice meal here, the surroundings are attractive, wood panelling, linen tablecloths and very attentive friendly staff. We ate off their taster menu which was very reasonable for a three course meal. We had salad for starter which was very fresh, our main meal was chicken paella which was lovely and we finished off with a crème catalane.... More

Had a beautiful steak here.A very classy place with wood panelling, cloth tablecloths and old school service. The staff were very attentive and my husband and I had lovely evening, Not the cheapest meal we had in Barcelona but the best steak.

We were looking for what we would call a proper English breakfast which this place advertised. Very clean and the waiters even dress in black/white with bow-ties. Food was good and scratched our itch for more than pastry and espresso for breakfast.

The decor is reminiscent of a swish bar in a nice hotel: lots of wood paneling, white tablecloths and shiny glasses swinging from the central bar. However, don't be fooled. Our waiter was rude. Fully rude. The paella was the worst paella I have ever eaten in my entire life...I had the chicken and it contained the oddest piece of... More

We ignored the bad reviews as there was so much good. Can't fault the food. Beware they ask you if you want bread then charge you nearly 5Euros for it! We were served by 3 different waiters who constantly fussed...even putting the salt container back when I'd left it in front of me when walking past and I was trying... More

We have been looking for a good Paella and we stumbled into this restaurant. First of all, I loved the fact that decor reminded me of a "who's who" elite club in California that takes pride in their service, food and facade. Same thing here, all of it. We had a waiter who took our order but it got better... More

My husband and I wanted to stop in somewhere for a quick slice of tortilla espanola and a glass of wine. This fit the bill and was delicous! My white wine was light and tasty an our whole bill was 7 euro. Easy.
