Amazing food

The best pastries I've tried in Barcelona. I had a Mojito dessert which was creamy, fluffy, sweet, sour and overall delicious. The chef is really talented.

The best pastisseria in Barcelona where we started every morning with their excellent coffee and pastries. Award winning chef owner and very stylish not to mention friendly staff. Absolutely love this place and looked forward to visiting it every day of our trip.

We chanced upon this patissier on our way to dinner n were charmed by the cakes on display. We decided to take away just 2 pieces for dessert. As it turned out, they tasted as wonderful as they looked. We had to go back for more the next day. The cherry cake and the croissants were memorably yummy

While the venue looks rather expensive, the prices are up to north-europe standard with the soul difference that this is just better. We kept ordering different pastries, invited friends to join us. This place is that good.

This is the best bakery fo Barcelona. The chef is the world champion 2011 for pastries. His cakes are heavenly delicious. I have been there every day during my last trip and I strongly recommend.

Thanks to a recommendation from gastrocar a fellow chowhound, I was informed about this amazing pastry shop. Before leaving for spain, I checked out their website and was very interested in their beautiful creations and was hoping that they will taste as good as they looked. After our tour of the Casa Batlló, we took a short walk for our... More

a must try when you are in Barcelona. Specially the red apple shape mouse dessert. It's the most delicate creation. We went there twice!

I liked this place because it has really tasty desserts, especially from macadamia, but what about coffee. It was horrible, for such level of desserts it should much better!

Had a very nice visit here recently where we tried a few cakes. Through the years I've been to quite a few pastry shops around the world but I've never had an experience like this one. Everything from flavors, balance and artwork was superb. I was very amazed and if I'm ever in Barcelona again I will make a stop... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
