One of the best in Barcelona

This is a tiny little place in a busy street and is easy to miss if you don't have a nose for coffee. El Magnifico smells divine probably due to the fact they roast their own beans. The espresso I had here was the most carefully prepared cup I think I've ever had. They love their coffee here... read more

Coming from Italy I am particular when it comes to coffee, but I must say that I had a great coffee (cappuccino) here. Great service, very nice and helpful people and willing to explain different types of coffee that are available. The only thing that is unfortunate is that there isn't any place to properly sit down and enjoy that... More

A business who has the highest ethics in maintaining a sound reputation for coffees not only here in Cataluñya but, worldwide? Mr. Sans, owner and proprietor, gave me a personal tour without a prompt. I ended up staying for about 4 hours. I was able to see first hand how he roasts the beans and the process in which he... Stopped for an afternoon coffee after a long day of touring and shopping around Barcelona. Wonderful cappuccinos to have in or take away. Minimal baked goods on hand so make sure to satisfy your sweet tooth elsewhere!

These people love their coffee. A tiny joint with so much care squeezed in. We drank two cappuccinos. The offer other brew options and roast their beans in-house.

You can buy among different types of coffee, all excellent. They toast by themselves the coffee and can give advice according your preferences. You can also taste a coffee but you can not sit, not tables in the place. If you like coffee this is your shop

Since I first visit this small and cute coffee bar I can't stop wanting to go there. It is the only place I can drink coffee without sugar! Their speciality is coffee (toasted by themselves) but they also sell teas and other delicious products like cookies. Arabica is their coffee icone! It is simply delicious. People is kind and professional,... More

The best coffee I have ever had, just delicious! It's a place to drink and go, they don't have tables only a few seats.

Being a bit of a coffee-snob, I put this place on my wish list of places to visit. Had a couple of well blended espressos here and bought a bag of Indonesian blended beans to take home. This small cosy shop has an almost constant flow of locals coming to pick up their beans of choice. The prices are good... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
