Very pleasant service from Felix

Just finished the dinner there. Started with croquetas, fried calamari and langostinas with great soya salsa, main course paella marisco. Desserts cheesecake with ginger ice cream which was very strong on the taste - yumi :-). Cream catalana is different to others you try in other places in BCN... read more

I am writing this review as I'm sat in the resturante. The service is very minimal as we were offers one drink the entire visit. Me and my friend both ordered paella and it to this day is one of the worst dishes I have tasted, my friend received his 25 minutes after mine as they bough out someone else's... More

It has a basic setting, not charming. The staff were helpful but the food was truly bad. I have never seen black paella. Everything was under/over cooked, tiny portions (thankfully) no one finished their meal.

This restaurant is located about 50 feet south of La Rambla on C.Hospital. We had Duck and Beef the first night. The second night it was Fish and a Chicken dish (a leg). All were very good! What brought me back was the dessert. I like sweets! There was an Ice Cream Oreo dish that did not have any oreos... More

Four of us each had a paella dinner here, based upon recommendation from friend who loved it and the Trip Advisor reviews. It looked nothing like the photo provided. We should have sent the meal back as soon as it arrived at our table. It was as though the food had been left out for a day and then reheated... More

A most enjoyable meal, very friendly waiter, reasonable portions and nice local wines. Everything sourced locally is always a winner with me plus willingness to accommodate alternatives. Companion's pork went down well and my chicken was tasty although I was disappointed it was a leg cut rather than breast. Starters were excellent, platter of veg and bread and Brie grilled... More

We found this meal to be delightful. I myself only ordered an apertiser ( coca, a catalan bread with brie and ham) as I was not hungry however I found it very appealing with it being apt size for a small main! Perfect for me! The atmopshere is relazing and appears fancy from the outside but the prices are extememly... More

We had a lunch (or early dinner) here. The restaurant were completely empty but we took a risk and the first this early evening. People saw us and started to enter :) My wife liked very much the traditional gazpacho soup (be ready for it being cold soup). We liked vegetable antipasti. She didn't like her "paella mar" that was... More

My husband & I were staying round the corner in a small hotel and the receptionist recommended this place which was literally 50 yards from door to door. I'm so glad she did as the service was impeccable and the food was so tasty...we had the wine recommended by the waiter and that was good too. I cannot fault this... More

Staying in La Rambla

Neighborhood Profile
La Rambla
Barcelona's most famous street was once a dry riverbed. Now, La Rambla is a 1200-meter boulevard, and a major draw for visitors. During the day, La Rambla fills with pedestrians, some of which stroll past impressive human statues and artists while others take a break to people-watch while enjoying a drink at one of the many terraces. Housed here is the iconic Boqueria Market that offers one of the most varied and appetizing selections of local produce and specialty meats and treats. While it’s important for tourists to keep an eye on their belongings at all times, this area is most safely explored in the daytime and is a must see for everyone who visits.
