After an endless walks in the streets of Barcelona, my friend and me decided to drop in Las Mananitas. At first, we were amazed of the coziness of the place, the decoration makes you really feel as though somewhere in Mexico. The options to choose from in the menu leave you confused, for each and every one of the dishes... More

There seem to be no decent Mexican restaurants in Barcelona. This one is clean and the service is fast, though perfunctory and not too cordial. The menu is limited (nachos, tacos, enchilladas, salad), and inexpensive for Barcelona. Whether you get chicken, beef or pork, it all tastes the same! You get a green sauce or a mild red sauce. Desserts... More

Dropped in without a reservation after reading reviews of the place and was not disappointed. Staff was friendly and food was really good! In difference to a lot of restaurants in Barcelona the portions were big enough to only have one dish which we were not ready for. Therefor we ordered way to much food but it was worth it... More

My girlfriend and I are big fans of Mexican food and we were very pleased with our night out here. The guy who served us spoke great English and provided us with English menus, which is always helpful. The restaurant is very colourful and vibrant and really has a nice Mexican feel to it. We ordered a selection of mini... More

Very good food with excellent service. The food is quite tasty and the staff was exceptionally helpful. Found it by accident but will be back for sure.

Found this by chance and gave it a try as it is very close to my home. I wasn't disappointed. They have a menu del dia that was quite good value (starter, main and a drink for 8,50). I had nachos, an Enchillada with rice. The level of spice was spot on, although the portions of Nachos were a bit... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
