Original and delicious food

I have have never tried a hot chocolate like it. It was brilliant. This place is chock full of board games, pencils and paper do spend a while here and play, drunk and eat. The portions are generous and the fresh juices are great too.

We can recommend their chocolate. It's a relaxed atmosphere where you can play different board games.

Our Barcelonian friend recommended this little "hole in the wall" for churros and chocolate. Although we started off with these two items, we decided to add a tostada de horno. We recommend the open faced toasted sandwich with spinach, mushrooms and goat cheese covered with toasted pine nuts. Delicioso! We loved the concept of a local eatery where the motto... More

One of the reasons to have breakfast in Gracia. Perfect coffee, lovely atmosphere, I would travel across town anytime to have a coffee and pastry here. There is no Wi-fi but personally I find this even more enticing, for enjoying the coffee over a chat or a good read.

We went to have a brunch during festive season. The place looked nice, but since the moment we seated down all was wrong: 1. It took them ages to come to our table to take the order. 2. After long time waiting they brought the coffees and teas (I would expect first the natural fruit juices and hot drinks at... More

The fact this place is open on Sundays is why we went. Perfect for a very filling brunch! The cup of chocolate is also an experience worth trying :)

Good food, lovely atmosphere, they have an English menu which is really helpful. The food is fresh and tasty. You are not rushed and have time to play scrabble or read the papers.

A charming, little place. A very tasty quiche and a cappuccino got me ready for touring the city. The waitress had some suggestions and very helpful. I could not help but notice at the next table, what looked liked a croissant covered in chocolate sauce. Enticing, but not for my breakfast

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
