One of the reasons to have breakfast in Gracia. Perfect coffee, lovely atmosphere, I would travel across town anytime to have a coffee and pastry here. There is no Wi-fi but personally I find this even more enticing, for enjoying the coffee over a chat or a good read.

We went to have a brunch during festive season. The place looked nice, but since the moment we seated down all was wrong: 1. It took them ages to come to our table to take the order. 2. After long time waiting they brought the coffees and teas (I would expect first the natural fruit juices and hot drinks at... More

The fact this place is open on Sundays is why we went. Perfect for a very filling brunch! The cup of chocolate is also an experience worth trying :)

Good food, lovely atmosphere, they have an English menu which is really helpful. The food is fresh and tasty. You are not rushed and have time to play scrabble or read the papers.

A charming, little place. A very tasty quiche and a cappuccino got me ready for touring the city. The waitress had some suggestions and very helpful. I could not help but notice at the next table, what looked liked a croissant covered in chocolate sauce. Enticing, but not for my breakfast

We were looking for a good breakfast in Barcelona for a long time. It seems we have found it: large generous servings, high quality , cozy atmosphere , open early in the morning, very reasonable prices. almost perfect.

La Nena is one of my favourites in Barcelona because it offer a wide range of coffees (also with soy milk). The cakes are as well worth tasting.

Went for breakfast. Has a cute setting, quite good in size, outdoor seating too a few tables at front. Staff know a little of English which is good. We ordered some baguettes with goats cheese. Shame there was no eggs on the menu. Oh they do English menus also so pls do ask. Prices were ok, same sort that you... More

The hot chocolate was perfect. Clearly a place to have an amazing snack! With a good value! The only issue I encountered was that it was crowded, for it was a sunday afternoon, but the wait and the hot chocolate and cookies made it all worthy! Would strongly recommend!

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
