Good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff

Were stuck for a place to eat after our first choice was closed. Came in on a whim when we saw good reviews on trip advisor. We weren't disappointed. The tapas was served quickly and is good quality for a very reasonable price.

Loved this little gem. Great food. Good service. Authentic spanish food, delicious tapas and great mojitos. Loved it. Would definitely go back.

Not sure about all the reviews for this place, some might be fake, everything we ordered was subpar. The bread was soggy, the mushroom dish was too salty and not fresh at all, and everything else was average at best. We had dinner the night before at Arcano and for the exact same price the food was incredible so I... More

This is angood value for money place. Staff is very friendly, englishspeaking and service is swift. Food was of good quality but the selection of wine, drinks and beef was limited. A good place for families with kids.

Went to El Callejon on a late night, and was totally impressed! It has a classic feel to it, and it's right by a few other nice looking Tapas places, but this place felt more traditional and relaxed (not as noisy as a few others). It's great for a date, or for a group that actually wants to talk easily,... More

I spent quite a bit of time walking around looking for one of those little gems, hidden down a side street, as most of the places to eat offer pretty much the same experience. I found El Callejon after consulting Trip Advisor and I'm glad I did. The food was fresh and to an excellent standard and the services was... More

As restaurants go this one very well , staff good , food good , if in Barcelona stay away from the 'strip' for food ., over priced and poor, found this restaurant by accident , more than surprised as we had done 'the strip ' previously , value for money and quaint

What a nice place to go to. The earlier recommendations were very good. Indeed very friendly waitresses and good looking. I had the garlic schrimps, avocado with salmon and the porc tenderloin. Completed with the rioga house wine. What do you want more. They feel like you are at home. Something to remember. Price quality is good.

One of the best places to grab a byte in the evening. Close to Born district so you are destined for a pleasant stroll after dinner. Try the skirt steak and the homemade cheese cake. Don't forget to order the Cava Sangria. It is Fabulous.

I'm sorry to say that the rating don't met our expectations. Instead of waiting 20 min for a table it took 45 min. Steaks was almost raw. Waitress forgot 50% of out tapas but they was on our bill. So, if you plan your evening, choose another restaurant in Barcelona
