When my brother found out we were going to Barcelona, he told us we had to try this wine bar. We're glad that we did. It's a small, intimate, wine bar (don't ask for beer or cocktails) in one of the oldest sections of Barcelona . Locals and tourists gather together for a friendly glass of wine, all served by... If I lived in Barcelona , this would be my local! The guy that runs it is friendly and very knowledgeable about the origins of al the wine he serves. He was more than happy to tell us about the different wines and we enjoyed sampling a glass of most of them! He also provided little rolls filled with pate... More

Tiny bar in gothic quarter near the cathedral. Was recommended to visit by friends and so glad we did. Bar Zim is a tiny space which you could easliy pass by, but don't. Although we were first in, the barman hadn't finished pouring our wine and the place immediately filled with locals. If you like good wine and enjoy the... More

Adorable little stone walled bar in the Gothic quarter, run by a friendly Catalan man and co-owned by a Scottish woman (who owns a super yummy cheese shop 2 doors down). Nice selection of only Spanish wines and cavas at a nice price! They also offer delicious little nibbles, featuring the cheese from the shop, crisp potato chips (crisps for... More

This is a snug little wine bar in the gothic quarter of Barcelona. We came in here by chance and ended up staying for a few hours as we enjoyed ourselves so much. The cava was lovely and it wasn't expensive either. Really great.

Really wonderful little place. Great to stop off here for a couple of drinks. Great atmosphere, delicious wines and plates of food. The owner is really friendly too.

Great bar to visit before dinner. Red wine 3,80€ and platter with local great cheeses and hams to share for about 12€. Perfect option for an aperitif. They do not serve beer and cocktails. It is strictly focused on wines and it is very tiny, so expect to be standing. Worth a visit to feel a local vibe.

What a great little hole in the wall!! This small wine bar is literally a hole in the wall as it has one table for four and five other bar stools. The place is really only about three meters by two meters, but it is very nicely done. The wine offerings represent Spain and are limited to about 10 wines.... More

We drank here one night after dinner on the way back to the hotel. Tiny bar that you could easily walk past, and when you go in holds around 15 people at a real squeeze. Friendly owner, and great value wines with a good bottle costing around 15-20 euros. You are encouraged to relax and enjoy as the owner passes... More

Tiny but welcoming wine bar. Very friendly and knowledgable bartender. The nibbles that came out with the wine were great too, we didn't eat there but the cheese and meat coming out looked excellent also. Great for a pre dinner drink or meeting place.
