In spring, the sun is welcome. With this reason, we took place on this terrace on the plaza real. Fish or shellfish, a glass of wine and enjoy.

We ate here twice this week as we went back as we liked it. Nice to be able to sit outside in a pleasant square. Clams marinare wonderful if you like shellfish. Lobster at 22 euro very reasonable in what can be an expensive city. House wines better than average. I'd go back and would recommended if in this area... More

Had a very good meal at this restaurant, very much a fish restaurant, with the fish on show, very fresh and very well cooked. Food and service was excellent. The restaurant is in a lovely position on a square, ideal for watching the world go by

What a disappointment! Great location, good energy but lots of problems. It started with drink service. Yes there is a difference between dry martini from one place to another, but never with sweet vermouth and certainly not twice. The waiter needs training at least to know when he doesn't know and ask for help. This is not a remote "locals... More

Sat dow for a drink int the square as the sun was shining on this restaurant. When went to order our drinks was told rather abrubtly by the waiter/owner that tables were only for customers who were eating. The restaurant was not busy and we were not the only business he turned away. Went and sat at another restaurant in... More

We wandered into this place because of a mix-up at a reservation at another place. The location is fanstastic -- right on the Placa Reial. The target market is clearly tourists. Good, but unexceptional food. The gambas tasted reheated and not fresh, the grilled vegetables were soggy, the fish was dry. Calamari was fine, as were clams. Service was okay,... More

Located in a square close to but not on Las Ramblas. Several restaurants around the square so fun atmosphere. Good variety of Tapas and excellent Sangria. Very reasonable.

Reading other reviews this place must all about the night, having said that we ate here twice in a week during Merce, OK .it is touristy but we were tourists after all ,the square is very lively which adds to the occaision. The service was nice and friendly on both very busy nights and in spite of the press for... More

This is a good restaurant but strictly for us tourists, as is Plaza Reial. Good Spanish food but a little bland compared with others in the city. That said it is in a lovely square off the Rambla. We had a fideua which was nice but a little too tomato-y. Service was good but a little in your face.

Would avoid! I have eaten in places off Place Reial a few times, and this is not one I'd go back to. The waitress was unfriendly, the lack of choice on the menu was startling and I found the food to be nothing special in very small portions. Buns we had with our various dishes were completely burnt on the... More
