Mixed feelings about this place, great location, food was nice and I thought it was quite reasonable - it was about €60 for two starters, mains and a bottle of wine. The service wasn't bad but nothing to rave about, same as the food, it was nice but not nice enough to make me want to go back, it is... More

Mariscco, a beautiful seafood restaurant in a beautiful square but don't be fooled. Food is served in the usual Catalan way which they will not deviate from. First a salad or potatoes then the fish or seafood. If you are not sure what the fish you are ordering beware, I ordered and when the bill came I had been charged... More

Excellent location sat out in the square. Ordered lobster paella, it came very quickly in a pan I don't believe it had been cooked in and was more like risotto then paella. Not a great deal of lobster in it, expected more for the 40 euro price tag but it was ok. The waiters were friendly but it was hard... More

Without competition worst food we had in Barcelona. Took couple see food dishes and it was so old it was difficult to chew:) Gave it grade of 2 out of 5 because its still in a great place, good interior and service. The place is OK to stop for cup of coffee, just avoid the food.

If in Barcelona then you must try the lobster paella and this restaurant has a delicious one. The location, service and wine selection is also good so don't hesitate to try it.

We came across this square and were keen to eat here but were a bit wary based on other reviews. However, it IS a great location so we were willing to accept just okay food. But we had a lovely experience including the food. Our waitress was great despite being very busy and the fish was great. I had razor... More

The food was fresh and you could see what was available before it was cooked. It was all delicious and the service was good. Only thing I would have liked was some veg or salad with the fish.

We spent a couple of hours sitting at Mariscco in the plaza, enjoying some wine and tapas. We had a variety of tapas and all were quiet tasty, though really small servings. The service left something to be desired, as half way through our time there our original server went home, but no one else picked up our table. We... More
