Excellent

Lovely food: starters including Spanish cured ham, bread with tomatoes, mushrooms with cured ham, and artichokes (the lattermost quite tasteless, certainly not the cook's fault). Afterwards, pork ribs and "chuleton", delicious. Nice crema catalana as finishing touch.

We visited Vic Brasseria with a group of 23 visitors, mostly from Asia. I was in contact with the restaurant prior to our visits, and received two great menu suggestions. The communication was very professional and friendly. During our visit, we had the entire upper level to us, and were treated with a lot of hospitality, very friendly :-) Everyone... More

Went here with my partner whilst on a short stay in the city after reading the reviews about now good it was. Thought the prices looked reasonable but the portion sizes were so small compared to other restaurants in the area! €6.50 for the anchovies starter which was 3 small anchovies and some crisps! Mains were OK taste wise, had... More

We believe that our offer is very good, we defend the gastronomy concept of great value ! this is our philosophy, because most of our objective is to make people enjoy in our house, feel special and finally keep a good memory of the restaurant. For all this, we apologize and will continue to improve. Thanks a lot! More

One of the better restaurants in Barcelona, I totally recommend Vic if you want real Catalan food and atmosphere. Try out anything from the grill and you won't be disappointed.

A large array of authentic Spanish cuisine on offer, including a large selection of meats, all for reasonable cost. However, my partner was left disappointed after being told that the only vegetarian main was out of stock AFTER already having our starter to our set meal. Despite that, the calm and welcoming staff were quick to offer and create a... More

For our last might of a 3 night stay in Barcelona, we dined early at Vic Brasseria. Truth be told, it was one of the few places we could get a reservation to. We had been to one of the busy and hectic tapas places the night before, and just wanted a quiet, relaxing meal. We were not disappointed. Food... More

Definitely worth a visit. We tried a lot of the menu - tapas, starters, T-bone steak and desserts. Can't fault the food at all, all was full of flavour and cooked beautifully. Clean looking stylish restaurant and great service.

We used Trip Advisor to find this restaurant close to our hotel and we weren't disappointed. The staff were attentive, the food was great (especially the Argentinian beef cut), and the 30% discount for booking in advance was a bonus.

It was hard to decide what I should eat, as there are a lot of special things which also requires special taste, but at the end I was happy with my choice. I got a salad with goatcheese. it was delicious. also the 300g steak I ordered was great. It was still bloody as I ordered and the patatoes were... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
