Excellent sushi

We were recommended this restaurant from a member of staff at Boca Grande so we made a booking. We were torn between the 2 locations but went with this one. We have been a number of sushi restaurants all round the world including Nobu in NYC, this was excellent food. We had some cocktails which I... read more

World class sushi with fresh ingridients, top notch service and perfect atmosphere. You can also follow the kitchen on bigscreen. Highly recommended.

After not being able to get into Tickets we discovered this lovely restaurant with Japanese and Brazilian fusion dishes. Particularly enjoyed the beef. Second time equally as good. Imaginative menu with a wide selection of cocktails also.

We just popped into iKibana for a quick lunch while we waited to check into our hotel. Just perusing the menu was a warning that we would spend more time there than planned. We opted for the second of the sampling menus with a glass of Verve Cliquot and a few sushi as an appetizer. Unfortunately it was a couple... More

One of the best meals I have had while in Europe. Staff was amazing. The whole atmosphere of the bar makes you want to spend all night there.

In a great location in the fashionable Born district near the Ciutadella Park this restaurant offers Japanese and Brazilian fusión food - and the combination works. If you are tired of the same old sushi, try this place. The decoration here is not as spectacular as the Parallel branch, but it has a terrace to more than make up for... More

We spent the last weekend in Barcelona and we decided to eat japanese on Sunday. After a few restaurants with the same answer: no table, we came back to our hotel and we explained the girl on the desk what happened - we are foodies and we heart japanese food - so she recommended a few restaurants and booked for... Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
