I was staying at a hotel nearby and stumbled upon this restaurant. It gets pretty booked up so I recommend booking in advance. It's primarily sushi but with a Spanish twist - some Brazilian (but not much). The sushi is perfection! I haven't eaten such a good meal for ages. It was my last night or I would have gone... More

I recently went to Ikibana for a nice evening meal with my friends as it was my birthday, not only was the food delicious but it was perfectly crafted ! We ordered: Crispy King Prawns, Sushi with Salmon and avacado, Asparagus and Prawn slices to dip into a sweet and sour soya sauce, a fresh fish salad, my favourite beef... More

Really beautiful interior space. Good menu and nice drinks selection. Food was good to great. I had a selection of items, some better than others but nothing bad. The premium price charged here can't be justified when the service is so slow. I know this is Barcelona, but this was extra slow. Might have just been a bad time to... More

Yesterday we went to Ikibana. We ordered but for some reason the waiter (or what seemed to be the person in charge) decided that he had a better choice for us so we accepted his proposal. We expected to be recommended the best choice obviously but oh surprise. We had 2 dishes that we did not order: gyoza in a... More

We came here for first time. I found them through Instagram and wanted to spend my last day in Barcelona having lunch with a friend in their place. Food looked amazing so why not? Their menu is quite large so you need to take your time to decide (you would order everything). The service was all time looking after us... More

Good meal and great service couldn't be faulted in any way and would happily go back many times. The biggest draw back is that this much overlooked restaurant isn't closer to home. Every dish was well constructed, beautifully presented and served with a smile. We really enjoyed our visit here. If you're in Barcelona and want something a little different... More

Very tasty and good place. Mid day the menu is even on a very reasonable price. But also in the evening. For the amount of Sushi, Meat and fish you get the price is really ok. The service is good and fast. The wine list is also ok, not great but reasonable balanced and has something for all taste. So... More

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighborhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighborhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
