Great and not great!!

I was looking primarily for Halal food and Indian food and found this by chance and the Halal logo. Frankly speaking, the food was at the top of all I have had so far. Atmosphere is humble and below average. One of the staff was too rude and unfriendly when we asked him to change the seat. The... read more

Anyone looking for HALAL food in BARCELONA, this is one of the best option. This restaurant is also good for VEGETARIAN FOOD. This restaurant does not serve ALCOHAL. Ambience is not that great nor service BUT food is really nice and it is 100 % HALAL Type of food--- INDIAN

We visited this place in Feb 2015 and this place was decent enough and was pretty neat. For veg people like me, Samosas were pure delight and also salad with some garam masala tasted no less than a heaven and also for non-veg this place was pretty good as the food was nicely cooked and tasted great.

Lunched here. Food portions are small, service is poor and the staff's arithmetic in the billing part of the process is best described are haphazard. Hundreds of better places to eat , even near Las ramblas.

literally just visited the Rajah 2 days ago due to all the reviews, and i was looking for a halal place to eat in im from an asian background so i found the food quite bland and the portion was incredibly small, in London for that price you get quite a big dish. But if your not used to asian... More

ate all 3 days of our stay in Barcelona at this place ... awesome food, great service. We were given complementary halwa and green tea every time. Portions were great and it was gratifying to fill your tummy with delicious food at the end of the day.

Went there with my six family members on our trip to Barcelona. The staff were friendly and courteous and the menu was reasonably priced. The chicken biryani was the kids favorite, but the portion size for the kurmas seemed too little. Would still recommend this place to friends and family, and might even visit it if the kids call for... More

Went here during my visit in barcelona with my girlfriend. Food was great, we ordered tikka masala and jaal frezi, both of a high standard. Friendly staff and low price also makes this a great indian restaurant on las ramblas. Highly recommend.

Portions were very generous. We could hardly walk after our lunch. The rice was so perfectly cooked and the butter chicken was delicious. We asked if we could have just a bit more gravy to finish up our rice and they gave us an entire pot of gravy (and did not charge us for it of course) which was very... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
