Amazing bathroom and decor

Had dinner with a group of 10 and loved all the food but especially the croquettes and a lamb pancake thing. Risotto with truffles was delicious. The biggest oysters I've ever seen and very salty so if you don't love em, don't order them. We got carried away on the cocktail so spent more on drinks... read more

We went for dinner last Friday and unfortunately it did not meet our expectations. after reading the reviews from TA we decided to give it a try. we did expect to have a great experience but unfortunately the food was not that great (very small portions) and if you are not a professional into fish dishes you will end up... It was our last night at Barcelona, and we were recommended by our friends who live in BCN to try to get dinner reservations at Boca Grande on Passeig de Concepcio between the Ramblas de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. The decoration is warm, excellent with all of the bottles of water, wine, liqueurs,on glass helves up against mirrors, and... More

A trendy place for tourists with good music on the weekends. Otherwise, poor service and very small portions with a crazy expensive pricing.

We returned to Boca Grande when we saw a whole fished baked in salt served to other customers on our first visit. On our second visit we ordered the salt-bake and the waitress brought 2 whole sea bass fish for our choice, one was 54 and the other 94 euros. I ordered the larger one because the fish shrinks considerably... More

A really good find off the Paaiege de Gracia . Great atmosphere with a busy buzz. Fresh fish and tapas. Clams and the hake particularly good. The upstairs cocktail bar Bocachica is a great space with a separate entrance next door .the various gin cocktails are a must. The toilets really a must to see with even a photo booth.

Busy restaurant but extremely original and very good food. Despite the fact they want as numerous as possible a table turn over the staff is young, energetic and friendly. The restrooms constitutes an attraction by itself... Sometimes there is live music(!) but we just experienced non live music. It's unisex! The wine list lacks new world options. We did have... More

As soon as we sat down, a waiter loomed intimidatingly over the table showing us the 'fish of the day' which we went with, as we felt like we almost had to. When we were given our assortment of razor clams and mussels ect, we were utterly disappointed. It felt like trying to swollow a mouthful of seawater. Then came... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
