I wouldn't suggest very pricy and not that good, service wasn't really nice we felt very uncomfortable there. The menu is very unusual but not in a good way. Wouldn't suggest going there.

Every time we're in Barcelona we stop for a glass of white wine and some sushi. The service, food and atmosphere are always great.

Watatsumi is one of several restaurants on the top floor of the elegantly redeveloped bull ring in Barcelona. There's a terraced walkway which runs round the top and allows the potential customer to check out the options available. Watatsumi is the first one as you come off the escalator and faces the exhibition centre and the palace behind it. Ticks... More

What a great restaurant. My husband was a little reluctant to go in but I managed to get him in and he agrees it was one of the nicest restaurants we visited in Barcelona. The waiters were friendly, surroundings beautiful. I had the salmon teriyaki and vegetables, my husband the beef noodles, both we're perfectly cooked and a good size,... More

Had lovely sushi at Watasumi. Good location on the top of the shoppingsenter. Good service, lovely food. A bit expensive. Recommended for sushi.

We booked this restaurant as it was local to where we stayed and had a wide variety of food to suit all our group. However the service was poor and we did wait ages for some items..... Not as good as I was hoping for. The food was okay but would not go again or recommend really. Shame but not... More

I stepped into this japanese restaurant in my last day in Barcelona, and ut was clearly the worst experience of my trip. I ordered a mix of sashimi and sushi and a glass of wine and, after waiting 45 minutes, I ended up having half a glass of white wine (not even the one I ordered) and a really small... More

Overpriced and underwhelming Japanese restaurant. Small bowl of rice with 3 tiny pieces of beef for €13 had to go to McDonald's on the way home, views of fountains are great though- only thing it h&s going for it!

It seems that the restaurant is ambivalent about its' identity. We thought it was Italian, but we found a section of the menu dedicated to Japanese (sushi etc.). We had been attracted to the Italian menu posted at the door and that is what we ordered. The food was superb! Delicious vichyssoise, a lovely arugula salad for starters. We had... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
