The best lemon tart in Barcelona

The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. They have excellent breakfast of eggs, the freshest egg ever. For dinner I highly recommend el secreto iberico. For afternoon coffee, lemon tart.

Amazing steak tartare and lots of yummy local specialities involving fish and olives. Also great if you like vermouth with soda.

The place is nicely decorated and has a warm atmosphere. The staff is very friendly, but somewhat slow. We had a very nice appetizer for share. I ordered the burger well done, but the one I got was all raw inside. The potatoes were cold and we waited quite long for our food. I think this is actually a very... More

I live in barcelona and i like to discover new places. A friend recommended me this restaurant. The first impression was good. The decoration is informal, somehow trying to replicate old grocery stores of barcelona. Unfortunately the food experience was very dissppointingat. One of the worst dinners that i remember. I ordered "huevos estrellados con chistorra" (very tipycal and hard... More

An all time favourite, either for a quiet cup of coffee or lunch. The cheese selection is impressive and the staff very knowledgeable. Everything is homemade with carefully selected products, I loved the cheese cake!

Great service, very good food, good atmosphere and music - not much more you can ask for really. They had a good selection of local cheeses and beer as well which we definitely wanted to try (and turned out to be excellent).

The place is small but well decorated, has three different spaces . Even so it's too loud and there is little space for the passage of the waiters . The food is correct, although we had steak and was not too tasty. Well located, but nothing special to mention (the desserts are not home made)

This is a diamond, go here! We were a large group, so we had to do a prebooking and I was very well taken care of by the owner by email. My group was amazed by the quality of the food and the location. A must if you are in Barcelona!

Stopped in here for a lunch, no waiting at 1pm on Saturday. Super cute shop space and great decor. We had the assorted charcuterie plate which had three meats on in with some pickles and toast, not too bad and a decent portion for only 12 euro. My husband ate most if it himself and really liked the catalan sausage... More

This tiny place is full of magic, the chef is originaly from Italy, thr food is very meticulous, in the morning they have breakfast menu with special things, and in the evening it becomes a bar and a charcuterie. I loved the very special cookies by the coffee. I have never tasted such special cookies so I bought some to... More

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
