Love this little find just Passeig de Gracia. We were directed to go here from the concierge at the Mandarin Oriental. Trust me.. take your date and ask to be seated in the wine storage room. The food is great and the service is super friendly.

After a brief visit to Casa Batlló we were all getting hungry and wanted to find a great place to eat. We opened the TripAdvisor app and were luck enough to stumble upon this absolute gem of a restaurant. Upon arriving we were immediately seated at a beautifully set table in the back. We ordered the Chicken Cesar Salad and... More

A small restaurant with one communal table and other few tables amidst wines, fruits, cheeses and other foodstuff for sale. All very nicely set. Informal and charming. Good wines. The food is fresh, they have daily specials and a menu that includes lentil salad with foie gras, delicious homemade Spanish tortilla, wild salmon cooked in papillote, burratta cheese and steak... We discovered this place on the first day in Barcelona and kept returning every day during our Easter stay! The quality of food is exceptional! Staff is a bit slow, but then, it's not a fast food restaurant. The atmosphere of this place is terrific! And the sobrassada they serve is a must!

Deceiving from the street, this restaurant looks like a deli/tapas bar from the street. In the back, there is a small dining area and a separate wine room. One of the bellmen at our hotel recommended it as a good place to get local cuisine. When the concierge couldn't get us a table, he walked us over and convinced his... More

The location is in the heart of Barcelona's tourist section, just three blocks north of Pl. Catalunya. The restaurant therefore could provide mediocre fare, as do many restaurants in this area. To their credit, they have multi-lingual staff (very friendly), fair prices (not inexpensive, but commensurate with the quality of food), very good food, and a clean, open, bright atmosphere.... We really enjoyed the dinner for 3 without making reservation. We dined inside the wine room . The waitress was really friendly and helpful. The food tasted great.

All the dishes are tempting. The burrata, cheese platter and lemon tart were absolutely divine. The place is really cute, the kind a foodie would love to open as a second career. Note that the portions are small hence expensive. Go only if you appreciate top notch produce-oriented cuisine.

Many of the reviews said that this was expensive and the service was slow. It isn't cheap but it is a divinely quirky little restaurant cum food store. The service was not slow when we visited-in fact the waiter could not have been more helpful and attentive. You choose your wine from the food store part and they do charge... More
