Catalan Breakfast...in a hideout

Just take your time, enjoy preparing your own bread with oil and tomato and savor some of the best cold cuts and cheese. Service is simple and the venue is modest but authentic. A must! PS: They open at 9am!

From the outside it looks like a Vegetables & Fruit Shop...and it is, but they also have tables inside (not many) in order to offer a restaurant service. The atmosphere reminds me of a french bistro. Interesting menu, typical catalan cuisine with excellent ingredients and a modern style. We enjoyed everything we tried. Only service is a bit slow and... More

We just loved the place. There was a relaxed atmosphere between customers and staff and among the staff as well. Bread and charcuterie was amazing. We'll be back.

This place was one of the best restaurants that we've visited in 5 days. Fresh juices and scrambled eggs were our favorite ones. Staff were friendly and the ambiance was really nice.

Small, intimate friendly service. We were made to feel like family. Everything was very good. We would return.

A little treasure of great food just steps away from passeig de gracia and catalunya. The waiters were extremely nice and the food was outstanding. The best roast beef ever. The embutidos and quesos catalanes were so good.

Brilliant Catalan cuisine at its finest. The owners have brought the best from their hometown to their shop/wine cellar/restaurant. My partner and I tried a set of 4 cold meats from their in-house production. We especially loved the cava that went with our codfish salad, egg and blood sausage plate and steak tartare. Brilliant atmosphere and incredible staff! A true... More

Cunningly disguised as a deli/greengrocers from the outside (and entrance) this is a very charming restaurant, down a side street just off Las Ramblas. It has a great atmosphere, one section of the restaurant is like you are inside a kitchen surrounded by cupboards and an Aaga, all full of items for sale. Another section puts you in the middle... Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
