A favourite in Barcelona

Great food and good service at reasonable prices. This is a favourite of mine in Barcelona. Try the Blackberry mojito. King prawns as starters is great. As main dish we had Iberian pork, Ravioli, beef and cod and all dishes was very good.

What a wonderful little gem this restaurant is! Perfect, friendly service, seemingly casual but stands up to the finest in Barcelona. Tuna dices, rice volcano to due for! We'll be back!

Called last minute for an early reservation. They were able to seat us and served incredible dishes: Cold gazpacho, tempura prawns, Galician octopus, burratina were all wonderful first courses. The mains of tagliatelle, cod, and black volcano rice were equally impressive. Thanks Trip Advisor and Yelp. Never would have found this place on our own.

It was our first time visiting Barcelona. We reserved a table of 7 to celebrate our father's birthday. The size of the restaurant is not too big, but we were comfortable there. The service was excellent. I had the lamb and both of my husband and my son had the black rice. We all loved our dishes. The waiter brought... More

WOW is more than enough to sum up the dinner we had at Cera 23. Everything was AMAZING - the manager (don't know his name) was really helpfull - went with us through few dishes, explaining every one of them and giving recommendations (which eventually turned up to be exellent!). I loved the soup of the day (gaspacho) and the... More

Although busy, accommodated myself and 2 others in the bar area! Service was top, food was just amazing! Slow cooked Lamb or honey roasted beef with white truffle purée are exquisite! And try the cheesecake! I'm now in a food coma.. Goodnight!

Awesome place! Last night in Barca so we decided to splash out and go nuts, ended up costing both of us 50 euros (a starter to share, mains, beer and some water) and it was a truly incredible meal. The staff are awesome and the black rice and seafood was insane. They give you complimentary bread and shots at the... More

Based on TA reviews we decided to make a reservation for dinner during our vacation in Barcelona. Unlike US restuarants, this is a small and quaint place. People working at the restaurant are very friendly and they do cater to you very well. The black berry mojito is again unique to this place and to Azume which is owned by... More

Blackberry Mojito on fleek. Ceviche game was on fire. Ox Tataki was life changing. Galician Ham was AMAZING. Foie Gras (at a loss for words). La Torrija de Vecino was the perfect finish. Staff is wonderful. Ambience perfect. 1-10? Easy 11. Price, too good to be true for the entire experience.

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
