Amazing Blackberry Mojitos!

A great little restaurant in a quiet alley. Loved the food, but really, the blackberry mojito was the highlight.

We usually try new restaurants in the cities that we visit. Cera 23 instead is a place that we come again at everytime we visit Barcelona. It has that type of food that you do remember after time. Not a various menu but a special one, with delicious platters. The atmoshere is very friendly and the guys taking care of... More

We visited this restaurant on our last night and everything was amazing from the drinks to the food. The owner and staff were all so friendly yet rushed off their feet - the ONLY point I would make is that they could do with a few more members of staff as it was just so busy. Blackberry Mojitos are a... More

A 10 min walk the other side of La Ramblas. A warm welcome and a good atmosphere. Our three course meal for two, with a bottle of riocha cost 71 euros and was delicious. My cubed tuna with pureed sweet potato was particularly good. We went on a Friday and hadn't booked, but best to book as we wanted to... More

We ate here on our last night but probably would have gone again if we had more time. We had cocktails to start, some of the best I have had. We then were seated at the back part of the restaurant and enjoyed a fabulous three course dinner with excellent informal service. A great final night in Barcelona.

Excellent service, warm atmosphere, and very good food. I started with a blackberry mojito, which many people recommended and since there's a place in Miami we go specifically for these I wanted to compare. Cera's mojito more than passed the test - terrific cocktail. I went with the Galician octopus appetizer, which was very substantial, well prepared and flavorful but... More

We booked into here for our second night in Barcelona after reading all of the positive reviews and it was so lovely! The food was very tasty with lovely staff! We also had a couple of drinks later on in the night and the bartender was lovely there! Would definitely recommend it here - if we ever return to Barcelona... More

Delicious food, friendly staff, great chefs. After so many tapas it was refreshing to have a salad with sundried tomatoes and fresh mozzarella as a starter. Truly amazing mozzarella. We also chose a ham and potatoes starter for our group of four. For our main course we ate fabulous mushroom risotto with hints of Roquefort, and a lamb confit. The... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
