Modern twist to the Spanish tapa tradition

All tapas on the menu guarantee an amazingly and truly tasteful experience. The setting of the Ohla Gastronomic Bar is great as well.

The drinks are great, yes. However so are the drinks a few blocks away in the Born district and in the Gothic district and they are 1/8 of the price. I am serious, the drinks at this place were the most expensive we had in all of Spain. It serves high-rolling tourists - think of finance professionals with a company... More

What a super hotel which only lets itself down by a disappointing restaurant, breakfast okay but lacks the real wow factor

The Boutique Bar at Ohla hotel is an alternative to a very popular and often booked out Gastronomic Bar located just across the hall in the five-star Ohla hotel. Nice wine by glass and great cocktail selection combined with great, even delicious tapas from the same kitchen. Unpretentious but nice interior and comfortable seating. The service is very friendly, but... More

Admittedly there isn't a lack of places to go for tapas in Barcelona. However, I have visited here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. I like the relaxed yet chic contemporary, unhurried atmosphere, great service and artfully prepared dishes. It is a little pricey for Spain but lunch or a tapas supper with wine only costs... More

This Gastro Bar is heavily reliant on a non-discerning clientele. The Tapas are of an average quality for tourist Tapas and are very highly priced in an effort to introduce exclusivity. Within a 5 minute walk of this hotel are at least 10 better quality Tapas establishments. Overall impression? - Rip Off.

Recommendation from a friend. The bar is below the michelin starred restaurant. Near the Palau. Very expensive for what you get. Yes, the plates are tasty/foodie but, really, $60 euros for 3 raviolis, 3 shrimp and two glasses of wine??

This restaurant belongs to the hotel Ohla and shows that food in a hotel restaurant can indeed be good (see my review of hotel Catalonia Passeig de Gracia). We went here for tapas and were seated in a modern environment with lots of pillows. Serving staff were very friendly and very helpful as we did not have any experience with... More
