Really unpleasent service. They are not interested in customers with babies or kids, they just told as to go home with our one year-old kid. Muy desagradable. Fui a desayunar un viernes con mis amigas y el camarero, com bastante mala educacion, me dijo q para estar con mi hijo de un año nos fueramos a casa. Food and coffee... More

We were surprised to see the low rating for this cafe as we have been travelling for four months and this was the best breakfast we have had so far. So good in fact we went two days in a row and were sad we couldn't go again. Creative menu, great Bloody Marys and really friendly efficient staff. The atmosphere... More

Went to the upstairs terrace 6 tables. One occupied. Was told in the most rude way that they do not serve solo clients on the terrace. Now ok, if the place was full, but with 5 out of 6 tables free. It's ridiculous! Finally, the tone and attitude which delivered the message was no where near acceptable. So NOT cool.... More

I went there for a lunch. The food was ok, but really nothing special. The waitress was unpleasant, seems like she DISLIKES her work a lot... Terrible atmosphere. I will never come back there again. Not a place to have nice lunch or breakfast.

We had a wonderful brunch here during our trip to Barcelona. Service was great, coffee and juices were tasty, and the food was top notch brunch fare. Would be there often if lived nearby.

The coffee is good... As long as you don't mind the bitter aftertaste left by the staff. I was asked to move from my table because after I had finished my breakfast and coffee they needed to sit a bigger group. This was totally fine and understandable. I was moved to small low round table that had two chairs. When... More

We visited this cafe on Easter Sunday for brunch. I'm guessing it's usually busier but we found it to be nicely relaxed with people around but not packed. The staff were helpful and friendly and did speak English which was helpful! We ordered double espresso and a cortado for coffee. Possible one of the best coffees I've had in Barcelona.... More

Very disappointed, service was poor . Got all our meals wrong and took over 45 mins to get some food. Very noise place and very cold. However the food was really good quality ! Won't be rushing back!!

We had a great Sunday brunch here two days ago, always a good place to relax and enjoy good food in a chilled atmosphere, I especially liked the advocado dish and the hamburger, the cakes were really good to, service fine but we had to wait 40 minutes for a table as they were very busy but it was worth... Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
