Very nice view from restaurant and the service was very good. However, the food was just mediocre. Not awful, not great.

Excellent food and service. Was hard to locate this restaurant as we did not know it was in the Arena and must have walked by numerous times! But we made it and met our friends! It would be a good location to watch the magic fountains but unfortunately for us they were not on the night we were there!

The old bull ring in this part of the city has been converted to a shopping mall. The top level is a promenade with great views and a number of restaurants. Mussol offered a fixed-price menu which was a good value. Tables are a bit crowded and the service a bit rushed, but the food and service were good, and... More

For better or for worse, this little place was the highlight of our trip. When you consider that we had just spent 12 days crossing the Atlantic with the accompanying glitter and cuisine the world's largest cruise ship, that takes on a little more meaning. We had one day in Barcelona before returning to the Pacific Northwest and we decided... More

Rather disappointing as the place so appetising from the outside. The service was sketchy with numerous waiters all confused as to whether we had ordered or not and bringing some drinks and not others. All a bit chaotic and wasn't even that busy. Food was so-so. The starters were good but the mains a bit of a let down as... More

I have recently brought a very large group to the top floor of the old bullfighting arena of Barcelona. The location of the restaurant is amazing. The staff extremely helpful and shows its love and dedication for the job. Menus are a bit pricey but unfortunately you will soon enough realize that Barcelona is a very expensive city. Service was... More

Had a late dinner after watching the great show at the magic fountain. Service was quick and efficient, but the food was mediocre at best, not appealing in taste or presentation.

Found restaurant by dumb luck on first night in Barcelona. The location is amazing being on top of a former bullring, so the sights of the Montjuic area were great. Not a Tapas expert but everything tasted great and prices were low considering location.

Staying in Eixample

Neighborhood Profile
Eixample
Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes recognizable by its more spacious streets and elegant atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district, Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best exemplified by the comfortable and lavish five-star hotels that flank the divine and modernistic buildings from some of the world’s most recognized architects such as Gaudi and Montaner.
