We went there because of a tapas festival on a busy Friday evening - more than 100 places in Barcelona offer something special for 10 days. Their tapas was so far the best we tasted, although not extraordinary, and we also ordered tomato bread and a chickpea dish to share - very tasty. We wanted to have dessert as well,... More

Looking in at this restaurant on a dark November evening, the interior seemed very appealing. It is modern, trendy with a black decor. It lacks atmosphere when inside but the food was very good. We had swordfish and risotto - the risotto was particularly good. A carrot cake and chocolate ice cream dessert was delicious and certainly the highlight.

Stopped by for a beer today with a friend. The waitress explained to us (In Spanish) that we needed to sit at a different table if we were only ordering drinks, which was totally fine! I did ask her to please repeat her sentence more slowly since my Spanish is not the best, and I guess that was my mistake.... More

Stopped here on my last day in Barcelona with my wife for a quick drink and snack. I ordered the Mojito and the Patatas Barvas and Calamari Romana. the Mojito was very strong, just how I like mine! And the Patatas were nice and reasonably spiced. The Calamari was well done but a little oily. Overall a pleasant experience.

Arrived here at 9 pm, very we'll served. The staff is nice but the tapas degustation is nothing special: we paid 38€ in 2, but there was really few food to feed us up. Too expansive...I suggest to go here in summer time so you can enjoy the big square outside as the inside isn't too fancy.

We went there on the night of 'El Clasico', so obviously football was a priority for most customers. All tables and chairs were facing the three (!!) big screens showing the game. We settled down with a beer and some tapas - and really enjoyed ourselves. The atmosphere was fantastic and the tapas were not the ordinary kind that you... More

We stayed in Rambla del Raval for a week and found Barraval our first night. We had tapas there for our first dinner in Barcelona, then stopped in a couple times for dessert and drinks, and finally ate our last breakfast there. We found the wait staff were very friendly and the food was quite good. The breakfast wasn't great,... More

We first popped in here for a drink on the way home after a day of sightseeing and after browsing the menu I decided we'd be back for food soon. If you're just after a drink you'll be asked to sit at one of the unlaid tables and if you sit outside (across the road you will pay a 10%... More

We stumbled upon Barraval after discovering that the vegetarian restaurant we wanted to try was closed. Barraval, however, definitely met our gastronomic needs. We started with two tapas: the coffee-smoked salmon with avocado, and the tuna tataki. The tuna was okay, but the salmon was brilliant. Great color, texture, and taste! We also enjoyed a salad topped with caviar and... More
