We happened to discover this in Placa Reial after a long day out and found the staff delightful and it was a great place to spend some time digesting the day to have a glass of cava and a beer - this is one of the few places we found to offer a mixed platter of tapas, which is great... More

Monday at 8pm. We were greeted very warmly. Ordered a large beer and a shot of vodka with lime. When the server brought the drinks he had the bottle of vodka with him and said the first shot was on the house. 10 Euros. We went to see a salsa show next door and when we exited we decided to... More

We chose this restaurant because it had a variety of options that could satisfy our family's various tastes. We ordered tapas which included mussels, calamari, tomato bread, patatas fritas and meatballs. All which were either cold or overcooked. It was a real disappointment. The only thing that was good was the spaghetti with tomato sauce. Service was slow - even... More

We arrived late in Barcelona and didn't want to wait 45 minutes for a table at a recommended restaurant in Plaza Real, so we went next door to Cerveceria Alex. What a Mistake! This was the worst meal any of the 4 of us have had in years and the service matched the awful food perfectly! It took us over... More

We stopped for dinner in the busy square, wish we had queued for one of the busier restaurants!! Prices in this area are not silly but reflect the busy tourist area. Food really does not match the price tag. My paella was terrible, over cooked and bland. Wife had a "steak" which was thinner than a bacon rasher, she asked... More

Stopped here for a drink. I ordered a Pina Colada and I do not know what I got but I sent it back and they tried again. Husband had a juice. They brought the same drink back and it was disgusting. They still asked for payment. We paid, left the drink there with only a few sips out of it... More

This restaurant is located in the busiest square in Barcelona. This is a very touristy area and the food quality to price cost can often get out of whack. In this case the food was ok but the location over compensated for it. I will say the beer was nice and cold. In the future if probably wouldn't eat there... More

Very nice big and icecold beers served with delicious snack. A perfect place to cool down from very busy and overcrowded Ramblas situated at lovely square with plam trees

I have visited at this place with my wife. She enjoyed her food very much, so did I. Waiter was very friendly (and busy) since the place located in very crowded area. Nothing special but ok, not as horrible as other reviews suggested. A bit expencive, but those are the prices at such crowded places.
