Get the chicken..

Probably the best kebab in Gracia, and I've recently discovered the chicken which is amazing! Recommended...

I'd admit I was there early so there is the off chance that I got yesterday's leftovers. Regardless the food was so dry and unappealing. My advice. If you want Lebanese or Mediterranean food then head across the street to the Ugarit chain.

The food is just terrible, standard low-quality kebab joint style. The locals go here for some reason I do not understand. If you want Lebanese food go to the Sannin on Torrent de les Flors.

They charged me 30€ more than they should have. I paid with a 50€ bill an the waitress charged me as if I paid with a 20€ one and then acted like nothing happened. Very disaappointed. Never going back there.

We had the "combinados". One of them had shawarma, hummus, falafel, kafta and salad. The other one (Don Tawuck) had chicken breast, baba ganoush, hummus and falafel. For 12, 50 each it was a great deal. We were very satisfied, the food was quite filling, flavorfull and well served. Waiting times were fast. A total recommendatoon for turisys and barcelonites... The owner is actually an nice Palestinian. Service is quick, food good and very inexpensive. It is a typical noisy Gracia restaurant, full of people of all kinds. We once had dinner with our two kids for 36€ all together!

Equinox is one of my two favorite places to eat falafel with humus in Barcelona; the other one being El Cocinero De Damasco in Barrio Gotico. You will not be disappointed.

It was cheap. I'm stuffed to the gills. My food arrived in about 3 minutes and tasted great. Not much more to say. :)

The place doesn't look precisely glamorous, but they have the best shawarma in town, it's spacious, service is fast and accurate, it's not pricey at all. I recommend "bocadillo de shawarma" for a quick bite. Their "hot plates" (combination of meat, sauces, falafel...) are a whole meal on their own. I've been a regular for over 10 years and its... Equinox has a good amount of seating and no or minimal wait. If you want to venture beyond the usual shawarma made with shaved meat, try the Shish Tawook sandwich, a pita filled with tender chunks of chicken breast marinated in a smoky sauce (ask for baba ghanoush, a roasted eggplant spread, instead of hummus inside). Decorated with colorful hanging... More

Staying in Gracia

Neighborhood Profile
Gracia
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the center, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theater that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
