Fun fun fun and extremely good food

It's hard to write about an experience where everything was extremely good. But apart from that it was a lot of fun, exiting and maybe the best we have had in years. Squids, oysters and a lot of other great servings. The creativity is out of this world.

Lots of small bites. The servers will help you choose the most popular and best sequence to enjoy the great tastes. Make sure you make it to the desert room.

The atmosphere is relaxed with semi casual attire. Staff with precise knowledge of each serving and recommendations excellent. I have to say the dessert room is a must! Ferran Adria is known for his creativity and uniqueness and hands down to the man. Taste was amazing. The director also recommended us another of Ferran Adria restaurant called HeArt 💓 definetely... It was difficult to book a table but it really deserves the effort. It is an amazing experience: the food (flavours & presentation).

Just a day after it was announced that this place made the top restaurants in the world, we scored the impossible -reservations!! Thanks to our amazing concierge at Le Meridien, we made our way to this quite intriguing dining experience. Truth be told all the tapas we sampled were memorable!! The best was having this awesome waiter who guided us... More

It was the hardest table to get a reservation at, but it was definitely worth the hassle. An absolutely stunning meal - great service, great atmosphere and stunning food. Make sure you let your waiter choose the menu for you. You'll receive 20+ small courses of some of the most amazing food you'll ever eat. And the best thing -... More

This was the best meal we had, not only in Barcelona, but on our entire European trip that included Paris, Nice and Sardinia. In contention for the best meal I've had in my life, which includes multiple Michelin 3 star and Pellegrino top 50 restaurants. The dishes (small plates) were all phenomenal. Very inventive and really, really tasty. This quality... More

Was it worth the 3 weeks I spent getting reservations? Yes. Sangria infused watermelon perfect, olives great though I loved the ones we had at hoja santo. Oysters perfect. Jamon wonderful. Few things I did not like: chairs def not comfy for several hour dinner. Asked to see dessert station not order it and got bill for 30 euros for... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
