so unique with amazing staff

We had read the reviews so where keen to try. We where lucky to get in with our group of 5. When you get there the door person checks your reservation then allows you into the restaurant. Once at our table our waiter introduces himself and is with you through the night. It's best to let him... read more

We were staying up the road and walked by by chance and enquired about a table at @ 8.30am.We are fully booked said the door lady but if you go over the road for a drink and come back at 9.30 we'll have a table, which we did. We came back at 9.15 to find a couple in front of... More

What an experience - this place blew me away! From the decor to the service to the food - top notch! We let the staff choose the menu and what an experience. We tried about 10 different dishes and they were all amazing - it definitely leant more towards seafood but at the start of the meal they check whether... More

Truly wonderful experience. Everything perfect. Team friendly, enthusiastic and skilful. Food very creative and with lovely flavours : a delight. One of my top ten meals ever - and certainly the best Tapas.

Overhyped and Pretentious Having booked online 60 days in advance at midnight, how disappointed we were with this restaurant, its staff and minuscule amounts of expensive food! To enter the restaurant you have to be admitted through a rope barrier, in case you don't have a booking. Then we were sat on metal seats at a bar not a table.... More

This place is very hard to get into.. Their booking system is really not ideal. But we were lucky enough to work out the system and get a table. Service is excellent. Food depends on the dish I loved most of them especially the white anchovies toast superb. Also excellent was the pork belly sandwich and main dish of sausage... More

This Michelin starred restaurant is an amazing experience, both food and atmosphere. We were a group of six and visited for a special occasion. It is essential that you book! Check the details on the website about how and when to book, it has to be 3 months or so before you intend to visit. The wait staff were incredible;... More

We were delighted to have been able to dine at Tickets - which is definitely the hottest ticket in town if you pardon the pun. It's fine dining in a chilled atmosphere and the food is pretty amazing. We decided to embrace the whole experience and just let them pick our food - the result was we ate about 26... More

Went with my wife and went for the 15 course tasting menu. Every single dish was great. I Don't really like tuna but the tuna dish was the best thing I ate. Was invited into the new 'Charlie and the Chocolate factory' type area out the back. Was a strange place in a good way. Roof was covered in cartoon... More

Have you ever heard the expression "you can put a lipstick on a pig is is still a pig"? Granted some of the dishes are presented with fanfare but most lack substance and quality which is to be fair reflected in prices. This is NOT a highend establishment but at best a tourist trap. It amazes me so many reviewers... More

Staying in El Raval

Neighborhood Profile
El Raval
Once a downtrodden corner of downtown Barcelona, this gritty area has seen a cultural resurgence boasting an excellent nightlife and one of the most multi ethnic spots in the entire city. A sense of humble authenticity protrudes from the many independent record stores, second hand shops, and student bars that seem to light up the streets day and night. The rocking epicenter, the MACBA Plaça, is a modern day forum for bohemian youth, abuzz with the sights and sounds of late-night gatherings and talented skateboarders showing off their latest tricks.
