We had a solid meal and wine. The restaurant was pretty empty though so I'm not sure if it's consistent, and the decor was a little weird. We speak very limited Spanish and they spoke zero English, so there were several mix ups with my dishes (I'm a vegetarian), but the waitress was friendly and replaced my food each time.... More

The restaurant looks very trendy and the menu is very experimental. Ordered the squid and seafood pasta, the prawn cannelloni and grilled squid. Everything was soaked in oil and the food was either very sweet or very salty. The grilled squid was good but oily again. The chef did come out and acknowledge the issue and took off the cannelloni... More

The restaurant's decor gives a nice ambiance to the restaurant but the service is not at the same level. Not that they are rude but they are not as pleasant and carrying as they should be for this type of restaurants. Food was good though.

First time at Tamara yesterday and had high hopes on seeing the classy design and tribes of local families guzzling their Sunday lunch. My friend had booked for the two of us, and on clocking the menu I realised there was virtually nothing gluten-free (I have Coeliac disease). I asked the waiter for the a la carte menu instead and... I visited here trying to find a good but reasonable Catalan restaurant. This certainly is 100% Catalan - infact so much so that they only have the menu in Catalan! As I do like to be able to read and choose what I want to eat this was a large negative for me and it did not help that the... More

So here I am in Barcelona for 3 months and loving it ! We are renting an apartment in Exiample , a lovely upscale neighbourhood and right next door to Tamara ! This place is really lovely . A somewhat romantic setting and with their menu de la dia at 15 euros inclusive of wine you cannot go wrong !... More

Please just walk on to the next restaurant and don't eat here. This place displayed a tapas menu outside and looked very inviting in terms of the decor but the tapas menu wasn't available when you were seated. The service was dreadful with bored waiters and the food wasn't much better. I had the gambas casserole which came with six... More
